They really are great together and love each other. Rogue thinks she’s Squirmy’s mother :). When we first got Squirmy and her siblings and we were up all night feeding them, Rogue wouldn’t go to bed, she stayed up with us all night looking at the kittens and minding them, she even lay down on her side trying to feed them! When unfortunately we lost two of the kittens, Rogue was looking everywhere for them and was depressed for days after :(. Its great now seeing the two of them so happy together :).

Awww, I’m sorry Rogue was sad when you lost the 2 babies (I’m sure you were too). Hooray for Squirmy who survived!

It was heartbreaking when we lost RJ and Meow Meow but at least little Squirmy made it and is doing amazing now, she’s so big and strong :).

Kittiekat, thank you so much for posting more pics:) Rogue is an excellent mother/sister for Squirmy. I am curious if Rogue has ever had puppies? How sad that Rogue was looking for the Rainbow kittens….. Yet Rogue has a wonderful playmate with Squirmy. Pet them both for me.

So cute! Love the contrast in size, and especially the one with Squirmy walking on top of Rogue! Thanks for posting these, when I saw the main page, I wished to see Rogue too.

AWWWW, wee Squirmy is so cute!!!! Did she get her name from how much she squirmed about when you were trying to feed her and stuff? Purrs to Squirmy and her big pal Rogue from Pooky across the water in Glasgow :0)

Thank you for all your lovely comments. Squirmy got her name because from day one she never stayed still! Whenever we tried to feed or stimulate her she squirmed about in out hands was always active and squirmy!! So really she named herself :. At the minute she is helping me type this in-between climbing on my head!

katzenmother, we rescued Rogue nearly 2 years ago, she was just used for breeding and was very neglected, and has health problems because she was breed so much! I think she is so good with the kittens because she had so many puppies of her own which were taken off her. So It’s great to see her with Squirmy and the bond they have :)She’s a big friendly giant and so gentle with Squirms 🙂

What a beautiful pet family. Poor Rogue looks very put-upon, but I’m glad she loves Squirmy. I love happy endings.

Hey kittiekat i thought i might have been the only one from Ireland here 🙂

Im original from Dublin but im in cork now. Love the pics!! I rescue myself and its hard work especially when you loose any. I think being in Ireland sometimes makes it harder you know yourself i feel like cats are really not appreciated here especially in the country side.

    Hi Buttons,

Same here, didn’t think there was anyone else from Ireland on here :). Aw it was heartbreaking when we lost the two little kittens. This was my first time rescuing/fostering kittens but I’ll definitely foster again, although whenever I foster I always end up keeping them, Rogue was also a foster but there was no way I could give her back, same with Squirmy :).

Yea your right about that, nearly every day you hear stories about animal cruelty!

Oh don’t i just know. I have 3 rescue dogs as well as my 5 rescue cats. The dogs have proper horror stories like rouge (by the way she has the look of a masstif my sister has a French masstif) my boxer/American bulldog cross was rescued from a puppy mill he was used for breeding too and was in an awful state both physically and emotionally when we got him.

I love your pics though squirmy looks a little like buttons and Nutini. You gotta love them mackerel grey tabbies :-).

I wonder are there anymore of us on here??
