No cats reported killed in the attacks so far, but unfortunately a police dog was killed. Her name was Diesel.

What an awesome tribute JK! Seems that the only thing that happened here was at a Montréal Canadiennes hockey game as moment of silence and playing of “La Marseillaise.”

Thanks, we have a strong French Community plus Brewtown has Bastille Days Fest every July – Eiffel Tower is usually erected in our Cathedral Square. Agree, awesome that organization lent it for Special Tribute.

Katzenjammer, there were huge rallies in downtown Mtl in support of the people of Paris (and also in other Québec towns, and in Ottawa of course). I think the largest here, led by Mayor Coderre, may have counted 10,000 people. Mayor Hidalgo of Paris also acknowledges these on her Facebook or Twitter (?) account; don’t remember which.
