*yawns and wobbles into the cafe* Good Morning Littermates! IHOP is serving up pancakes of your choice, with strawberries for Bobbi’s Birthday. There is an assortment of pastries, juices, breakfast meats, coffees, & teas. Bring your appetites and dig in. It is a balmy 61 in Fla. today and it feels like a spring morning in April! A light rain last night and it smells wonderful!

    Happy Caturdady Eveyrone!

    Good morning 🙂

almost was gonna skip out on breakfast (I have a not so healthy relationship with food…) but I had breakfast.

I watched Sammi and Kizzie play a bit after their breakfast. I am gonna clean and might throw in some knitting now that I have new knitting needles and thread 🙂

    Good morning, SOM and CM!

I’m still sick with this lousy cold, so I’m not hungry, but a hot chocolate would do nicely.

I stayed at GG’s last night and felt so bad because I kept him up most of the night with my coughing and sniffling.

I’m at work now til one and then meeting Ellen for sushi – hopefully I’ll feel better by then!

Good morning, Chey – you snuck in! My relationship with food isn’t great, either – it ended me up in the hospital with an ulcer last year, though, so these days I try to be good. And breakfast is important – starts your metabolism for the day!

Morning, all. Home! Home today to my Georgie! Apparently he’s been loving all over Gini, which is good (he snuggles with everyone but me, but I try not to be too jealous).

Hope everyone has a good Caturday.

Morning, Everyone! It is a foggy morning here. Mr. WWM had to go to a meeting out by the airport but called to let me know that he got there fine. Fog is West Texas can be so thick that driving is scary because of some of our notoriously horrible drivers. It’s bad enough that he had to go to the meeting, because this is our day to sleep late. *whine*

We had a dinner party last night and I thought that I never would get the kitchen cleaned up. I don’t know why it is that I do the dishes as I’m cooking but there’s still a mess when company leaves!

I think that I’m going to do some sewing today. My sister called me last week to “remind” me that my niece’s two year old daughter still doesn’t have a Christmas stocking. Seeing as how I am the only sewer in the family, that task fell to me once my grandmother passed away. I meant to do it! Darn procrastination habit!!!!

‘morning, all. I’ll take a cup of Kona/Mexican blend (and just to be extravagant) a little (very little) vanilla ice cream stirred in instead of creamer. Whole grain toast with butter & jam, please. We are battening down the hatches here in So. Calif. in preparation for three or four strong rainstorms headed our way courtesy of the Gulf of Alaska and the Pineapple Express. For some reason heavy rain frightens me (afraid of roof leaks and flooded porches) and I’m really nervous about the ones headed our way. Hmmm, nervous. Let’s make that coffee decaff.

Morning GA, WWM, Kilroy, GD,CM, Chey. I can commiserate a bit with your illnesses, Bob has been feeling ‘punky’, as he puts it. Upset tummy last Sat., and again on Thurs night after dinner. Now he feels chilly and is back in bed, something he NEVER does. Kilroy, how was the rest of your vacation?

I’m just snotty, SOM. I very rarely get sick and when I do, I get whiny 🙂

I’m half-way through my work day today – then off to eat some wasabi and clear my sinuses 🙂

Morning everyone!…… lazing around this morning, Hubbs and I had a “date night” last night with two other couples, then we all came back here to chat and hang out!….. really fun, good friends, and we don’t get together near enough!…I didn’t even get to turn the computer on last night, but it looks like it was a slow NS!…..

Hubbs headed out to play golf this am, so I’m enjoying the luxury of “me time”!…..

me time??? oh AV, I want that too! maybe in 20 years…lol

Okay, I have to vent…the last 2 days I have had multiple people knocking on my door for either this or that. Selling something, sign something, or listen what my religion has to say about the bible. Sometimes, I will stand there and listen but most of the time, I stop them in mid sentence and tell them, thanks but no thanks in a firm voice and shut the door. I trust no one and my time is taken up by 2 little ones trying to get out the front door. I guess my issue is after I tell them no, I feel guilty. I should have listen to them talk about their religion etc…however, I don’t want to buy anything and We are not that religious . Am I bad for just letting them know, in no uncertain terms, right away, thanks but no thanks?

The sky lightens, the sparrows in the tree next door are clamoring for their feed as are Sophie and GizzysUncle. Another day begins. Have a good one, everybody.

CM! Absolutely do NOT feel guilty!….. I can’t stand solicitors, good intentioned or not!…. I usually don’t even open the door, I just say “Thank you, but I’m not interested”!….. This may sound cynical, but I don’t trust people I don’t know, so I don’t put myself at risk by opening my door to them. My opinion is that my home is my sancuary, and I don’t like my privacy invaded!….

Thank you AV, glad I am not the only one. I don’t like to be bothered.

The guy was like, I am not selling anything but I want to talk to you about the Bible…I told him, his wife and baby that we are not that religious and shut the door. He was very nice but I just don’t like opening doors and dealing with people.

I am hungry too AV…I have no idea what I want to eat. Girls just ate lunch too.

What shall we have? YOu are a better cook than I 🙂
