Some of the kitties are finishing up the Night Shift Cafe while others are setting up all the morning goodies. Come on in and join us as we get another day started. I can’t stay long, but the kitties will be here all day to help with whatever you want.

Good morning, LK! I am procrastinating & trying to delay going out in the cold; it’s 14 degrees here, headed for a high of 28. Brrrrrrrrrr.

Mr. K & I went to a show last night; 3 one acts written by famous people (Ethan Coen, Elaine May & Woody Allen) and I’m sorry to report that it was pretty bad. The Woody Allen one was OK except they beat all the jokes to death. On the upside, Mr. K made an amazing dinner; clams & lobster tails w/ Spanish rice & peas – yum!

ETA: Whoops, hi Deb and Joan! Joan, hugs for you on Jiggs’ anniversary at the Bridge.

Morning Kitts!!!

Seems I have alot of posts to catch up on, now that the hoopla is over for another year.

We are supposed to have a warm up with the weather, hope they are right…yesterday it was 6 degrees when I got up.

I could use a hot cuppa tea this morning….still battling a stomach bug, argh. I hope this finds you all in good health and spirits!!

Good morning littermates! Life was busy yesterday (first day back in the Gnu Year). I lost a dear friend Dec. 30, and a coworker this just past Monday (1/2). It’s been a year and a day since Tansey crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and on the 13th of January is the 11th anniversary of my mother’s death.

January kinda sucks.

{{{Sio}}} Forgot to tell you, Jiggs brought Tansey the prettiest bouquet of flowers she’s ever seen on their anniversary at the Meadow and they went for a walk along the brook in the sunshine. They talked about their long lives with their human and feline families as well as all the great friends they have made at the Bridge.

I am home, fed the crew & the outside feathery visitors plus put food out for the javalinas who usually venture out in the darkness. Now its time for me to try and sleep, got a whooping 1.5 hours yesterday so kinda tired this morning.

Hope that everyone has a decent day this Gnu year (thks Siobhan for that :))

Hi all! That place has been busy busy busy since coming back from the Holiday break. Thanks again to all who responded on the thread about Chloe’s eye. She is not a happy cat at the moment… and I need to learn how to better get the drops in her eye… but she will be OK.

Have my cuppa tea and need to get back to the grind.
