    Mr. K uses a pancake mix that doesn’t have oil in it & you don’t add any, so he cooks them in oil in the cast iron skillet (Kilroy makes discreet gagging sounds). Waffles are a different story, obviously. When the waffle iron dies I’m going to lobby for a multi-purpose pancake/waffle maker & take over pancake making duties.

    Waffles do sound good, not so keen on pancakes and never have been 🙂 So what did I eat, hmmmm an ice cream cone of course 🙂

    Can’t go wrong with ice cream 🙂

    Santa brought me a new waffle iron, so now I can make waffles that don’t stick. I make a whole batch, because leftover waffles go great with ice cream later!
