hi everyone! im new to this chat. i have a 5 week & 5 day old kitten. he was brought into my sister’s work (she runs a vet) and i offered to foster him. well of course that turn into he isnt going to be leaving 🙂 he’s so adorable. black and white ghost tabby. he’s making such progress, drinking and eatting out of bowls (still on his bottle some) very playful and loves to cuddle. and a champ at using his litter box. theres only one problem. to him i am his “mom” and up until he was about 4 weeks old he slept in my room in a crate because he was so little. now he will not sleep if he is in my room. its like its play time. he will only sleep if he’s in bed with my mom or sister. why is this? i hope its just a phase! has anyone else had an issue with their kitten not wanting to sleep at night? he gets a lot of exercise during the day and even has a “play pen” with toys, food & his litter box to play in. i could really use some hints on how to get him to sleep when he’s with me! thanks everyone! oh and his name is London Banks (bear) Taylor. he is named after London Fletcher, Brandon Banks & Sean Taylor from the washington redskins 🙂
