Does anyone know why sometimes pictures appear in the posts and other times just the links appear?

I only know about the upload site that I use – Photobucket – and at times i also get just the url, think it has to do with whether I leave a space after the text, but I “edit” re-copy and it gets fixed.

Leeny, it depends upon the method of person sharing link/story uses!
If an article has a noteworthy picture I usually post picture separately but along with link.
If link has video attached it all comes as one.

How does one post a picture separately, Jeankit?

Not sure but I think that when I’ve posted a news story the whole page comes with the url. But why would that be a problem as readers can go offsite to read article, view pics, then click back to return to TDK. Purrhaps I’m not quite getting question and as result confusing things even more LOL.

    Psst Leeny:
right click pic you want to copy
Go to img bar on tdk reply link
click img: r click – post pic link on img box.
put in description in next box
    submit!

    Friday’s feel good story:

Paw up kudos for Sam Simon!
    sam simon

When co-creator of ‘The Simpsons’, Sam Simon was diagnosed with terminal cancer, he went on a spending spree – buying up notoriously cruel roadside zoos and circuses, because he wanted to “see animals walk in grass for the first time”.
During his life, Sam has given millions away to animal causes and now plans to spend the rest of his days giving away the rest of his fortune to charity.
This writer who has made a fortune making people laugh, will now spend his fortune making the world a kinder place. On behalf of the animals, thank you Sam.

    Tuxie cats abandoned
    Not a purry story… 🙁
Hope they find the person responsible for this and offer assistance/help for special kits.

JK – What???? My Meadow Nicky was/is a tuxie!!! Very not pretty!!! They “want to offer offender advice…”??? At this moment I’m in such a fuming mode I can tell you exactly what I would offer him, but will refrain lest I break all of our KM’s rules regarding language.

Here’s my Nicky-boy (yes, again)! Tuxies rock!!!

Now I’m missing him! Think it’s about that time ’cause I need a virtual drink!

    Aw…purry remembrance for Nicky…cheers w/nip cocktail!

Yup KJ, not always purry kit news on ‘net & FB. Usually look for positive or informative ones to post.

Please keep thoughts/purry prayers for all of the other not so fluffy stories of kits in the news too!

Sweet Little Hope, that story about did me in. I signed the petition also, but couldn’t leave a comment. I don’t understand the weirdness with the tuxies either. Who wouldn’t love a little tuxie, or for that matter, ANY cat no matter what color/marking pattern? *sigh* I’m having decidedly unfluffy thoughts about people who abuse pets of any kind, and JK I will keep good thoughts/purry prayers for kits/pets/children who find themselves in the hands of the unmerciful. May they ALWAYS get what’s coming to them.

My blessings too … for the purries that we hear about in the media … and for those whom we don’t.

Tried to click on url to sign petition, unfortunately was not able to access petition, some type of Error 404 msg. Well, gave it a try, hopefully others will manage to get through and help to end this travesty.

    Site temporarily under construction:
    Y pet site

This is why some links to petitions currently do not work – under construction!
    Dear friends,
Yousign.org is getting ready to launch a new petition site dedicated exclusively to tackling animal abuse. Until the entire database is reviewed and transferred, some of the petitions on YouSign.org will not be available. We thank you for your understanding and for your amazing support!

(I will share more info on pet links when avail.)JK
