New kitten with odd nose

We just rescued this little girl “Piper” a couple of days ago. We’re guessing she’s 5-7 weeks old. Vet can’t get her in until Saturday, but gave us the rundown on how to take care of her. She seems 100% healthy and active. Eating, using the litter box, happy as a little girl. But… Her nose looks weird. I don’t think it’s a growth like cancer or anything because it feels hard like bone or cartilage. Also, she’s so young that I can’t see cancer growing that fast. She’s pretty skinny since she was abandoned outdoors on my daughter’s porch for who knows how long. Has she just not grown into her nose yet? Or maybe just a feature of whatever breed(s) she is? It’s perfectly symmetrical. Just a large nose.
