Hello everyone I’m new here and need some help.
I recently became the owner of a small kitten through unfortunate means. I’m assuming it’s mother abandoned it or something like that on top of that it was on the roof of my house….
While I’m not really sure how it ended up on my roof, the roofs of the houses in my neighborhood can easily be accessed from any other roof though. At first I thought the mother might have just left it there while she went out for food or something (weird but still slightly possible I guess) so I left it where it was and just put it in the shade with a small bowl of water. When I came to see if its mother had come back for it I found out that it crawled into a pipe that drains water from the roof (seeing how the roof is flat). I had to follow the pipe/tube to find where it was and cut the pipe to let it out.
Obviously this kitten wasn’t having the best of days so I just decided to keep it after that seeing how I didn’t see any cats even approaching my house. I’ve had it for three days now and I’ve noticed that the kitten doesn’t poop or drink anything. I give it wet food so I guess that’s why it’s able to pee but it just won’t poop. It eats quite often, not too much but still weird. I behaves rather normal I think, it waddles around, likes hugging my slippers, it seems to like to curl up next to me to sleep sometimes so if it was anxiety I’d think it’d be resolved by now. Its belly also seems to feel full, still it eats. Not sure if it still has constipation or something. I don’t really have any local vets or pet centers so I really don’t know what to do.
tl;dr found a kitten stuck in a pipe and saved it, now it won’t poop or drink anything though it will pee, only once or twice per day though. I don’t have access to a vet so I don’t know what to do.

It’s hard to tell you how old it is since I don’t know what the kitten looks like, but if it’s eating wet food then I would say it’s at least 4 weeks old…maybe even older. It may need stimulated to poop, which I will post a link for you to try. Young kittens are stimulated by their mothers to poop and pee when they are very small. This kitten may be old enough to poop on it’s own but may need to be stimulated to start the process. Also with it being out in the heat on a roof, it may be dehydrated. Adding some goat’s milk or KMR (kitten milk replacer) to it’s food to make it a little soupy would go a long way in getting it rehydrated. Goat’s milk can be found in the refrigerated milk section of the grocery, or in the baking aisle in cans as concentrate or powder. It’s very nutritious and good for them and is cheaper than KMR.
