We had 2 litters of kittens within one week of each other from stray cats on our farm. One mother rejected 3 kittens so we took them in and had to bottle feed them etc. We did not want the other 5 kittens to be stray/unfriendly and maybe bind them a new home. We where able to catch 2 of them at about 5 weeks of age, and they are doing great with the original 3.
We finally found the remaining 3 kittens (6 weeks old) but we only caught 1 so far. It has been 3 days, and it is very scared. The other kittens (especially the littermates) try to play with her and snuggle with her, but she just is in pure fear. She only will eat out of my hand, and not with the others.
Is there anything I can do to help it socialize better, or will she in time come around.
Hoping to find the other 2 so they can all be reunited.

Nelson, bless you for caring for these kittens! It’s my opinion that the other kitten will come around. It will take time and patience, but she will watch you and other humans, and the other kittens and realize that she has nothing to fear. Talking to her softly, no sudden movements, and good food, plenty of chin scritches will bring her around. Remember, to reach toward a frightened kitten slowly, and from under their head, as sometimes when you come at them from above, they cower and act afraid.

Keep us posted on their progress!
