Slow afternoon in the cafe…must have been all of the yummy noms for kits are snoozing too! Me, gonna grab an iced coffee w/sprig o’mint & back to round 2 on day 5!

While not prime rib…hubby did buy a New York strip roast and had the butcher cut it into 1″ thick steaks.

JOAN! Are you there????? I will be in NY and NJ next Th, F, and S. I arrive in NYC at 18:20 your time. I have class F and S, catch a LATE flight back to Chi-town Saturday night. Am staying at the Marriott in NJ where my class is. I left my reservation on my desk at work but I think it is something like Bergen County Marriott. Is that close to you!?!?!?! I am going with my boss and will want to RUN from her. Let me know if you see this, if you are close and if you would even have an inkling to meet???? Just a thought…….

I took today off – have a few days to use before July. The landline isn’t working so I was hoping to get a service call today. No dice, the earliest they can send someone out is Tuesday!

Got stuff done though, and, more important, got to spend the day with the kitties! Oh and they were happy to get back a dust-ridden toy from that corner of the house I cleaned out! It makes a crinkly sound – how DID they live without it?
