    TGIF!

Today is “National Prime Rib” Day–There’s only one way to celebrate National Prime Rib Day, eat a big, thick, juicy cut of prime rib.

Prime Rib, a very popular cut of meat for Christmas and major holidays, is graded as a USDA Prime cut of meat. Most beef offered for sale in supermarkets is graded US Choice or Select. US Prime beef is sold to hotels and upscale restaurants.

The kits are going to serve Prime Rib a little later but for now they have a full buffet of yummy noms for a Friday morning. Please fill up your plate, just a few more hours and its the weekend. Hope you make it thru your Friday and to the weekend without a crazy day in between.

    See you after work!

Good morning MC & AV. Prime rib sounds great. I’m just enjoying a green tea and thin slice of carrot cake. HRH is curled up asleep beside me and it is drizzling outside.

We road tested Friday for you, expect and so so type of day, no big highs or lows but you don’t need those when it’s a Friday do you.

AV, don’t huff and puff over Hazel, the dust gets fluffed around the room that way. I can assure you she isn’t here because she never even turned up here in the first place.

Morning, all! Can I just say “ouchie!” about the poor pup who walked into a cactus (story is on yesterday’s cafe thread). He’s a cutie patootie, even with a faceful of pricklies.

Georgie is in SO MUCH TROUBLE! He knocked over & smashed a flowerpot in our second bedroom this morning, and Mr. K was furious. I didn’t think I should point out that he was the one who put it somewhere that it could get knocked over. I repotted the plant & am hoping it survives.

Good morning Kilroy, awwwwwwwwww George. Don’t you just hate it when flowerpots just fall over all by themselves.

Morning, MS *waving* He’s been so good all winter while the plants were inside, now just when they’re about to go back out on the balcony he kills a flowerpot (and it was one of the nicer ones).

I will say, Mr. K was p.o.’d but before he left for tennis he set Georgie’s tall chair up for him in front of the balcony door so he can look out, so he can’t be too mad, right?

If he did that for George then he can’t be too mad and he might even realise who put the flowerpot in a silly spot in the first place.

Hello Saturday, time I was in bed.

    Nighty night all.

Ah yes, steak & eggs. When hubby grills a big steak, I cube any leftovers and we have a steak & cheese omelet for breakfast!

The space shuttle Enterprise, riding piggyback on a 747, just landed at JFK airport. They said it flew over NJ but maybe not far enough north for me to see. They also said that the winds may have prevented it from being able to fly lower. I have noticed the lack of aircraft this morning though.

Dad, fellow engineers, space enthusiasts and proud Americans got a bird’s eye view from heaven! Not too bad for folks here on Earth either! 🙂

They’re “stacking ’em up” at JFK & Newark Liberty. No sooner than I stop hearing a jet, here comes another.

I’ll make virtual steak & cheese omelets for all, just let me know what kind of cheese you prefer!

I could go for a nice medium rase slice of prime rib with fresh grated horseradish, loaded baked potato and a nice green salad with blue cheese dressing. A classic meal! So glad it is Friday. Getting ready to take a walk and pick up soem barbecue for lunch to bring back to the office. This afternoon I think I am going to have a clean out! I need to find the surface of my desk and catch up on filing!
