It is possible… but ideas are still brewing… last night I was calling her Friskcuit I thought it was funny because she is so frisky. But I want to reseach some more names before I 100% decide on one. This is the longest I have ever taken on a name.

I saw her, KT…what a great photo. It’s such an amazing story how her little voice saved her life. Congrats on being the star of the day, Kitty.

Pyewhacket (our cat’s name is Piewhacket but doesn’t really live up to the name) It’s from the movie Bell Book and Candle.

Gizmo because she has gremlin ears

Thumbelina because she’s tiny and feisty

She is so cute!! And I agree with out I hope her ears stay bent πŸ™‚

How about Diva? Since her voice saved her life, that might work πŸ˜‰

I have 3 baby kittens (and mama, a feral) at my house. I, too, am no good at coming up with names, so I settled for gemstone names for the babies. One is Ruby, one is Jasper (not sure if that’s a gem or not) and the smallest one is Baby Onyx. The names seem to fit them πŸ™‚

I read a story about an ocult detective who had a cat named ( Atilla the Nun )

. She called her that because the cat was a large maine coon that had been fixed ,

Attila wasn’t a main character. The books were called Diana Tregarde Mystries by an author named Mercedes Lackey.

So I know your all frustrated about my name decision making skills. Lol I apologize I still haven’t made up my mind.

I wanted to post that I have been trying to get her to eat solids, and she turns her nose up… I offer complete solid, soften food, gruel, formula in a dish, can food… Nope no thanks mom… I offer a piece of my Mac n cheese and she loved it! Now what do I do? I know she is ready and her teeth are sharp as hell! She is 5 weeks. Any idea how to get her interested?

Try meat only babyfood. For my little Noe I had to put some on my finger. Then open her mouth and put it in. Once she started to lick it off my finger and get the idea I mixed the baby food with wet and then the wet with dry, until she was eating regular kitty food on her own.

You also want to break her of the habit of eating people food.My kitten actually burned her little foot at about 13weeks. I had a glass top stove and she deiced she wanted what I was cooking. I put her on the floor about 3 times and then she jumped on the hot burner. I think she also might have been after what was on the stove the night she fell off the counter and broke her leg. So please learn from my fail. As cute as it is, it’s more dangerous than you realize.

That’s horrible!! Well I personally do not like my cats eating people food and I HATE a cat on the counter and my bf’s cats are spoiled and he sees nothing wrong with them being there… I don’t want to eat they hair as much as one exhales it. The macaroni was because I was on the floor while she was playing and I offered it to her expecting her to run.. Nope! But I will try babyfood as well… Any particular flavor ?

KT, I don’t have personal experience with the baby food, but I know chicken is a popular cat food ingredient…so maybe chicken? I’ve read here that you should make sure there is no onion or garlic in there.

Well when I have the chance I will get around to the store, I was thinking about cooking some hamburger meat and giving her some, she seems to be interested in what I am eating v.s what I attempt to give her.

Hi KT – my vet told me meat baby food is ok, but not ham. Apparently too fatty.

Cat naming can be tougher than one might think, eh? πŸ™‚ Something will settle…eventually! How ’bout Macaroni? Maca for short.

well… I tried the babyfood she said no to that… so at 6am this morning I put about 6 pieces of hard food in her cage and when I went to feed her at 11 it was all gone, she ate it!! I fixed her a dish of her kitten dry food and she started it eat it. The food is still too hard for her, so she only ate a few pieces of it, but if I try sofening it she will not touch it. Funny kitty. Also last night I cooked up some hamburger and she loved it, but seeing that today she actually ate some of her own food I wont bother making food for her unless she stops showing interest in the food.
