I know this is about cats but my aunt wants to take my dog back after she gave her to me and my uncle abused her and we got her to act like a normal chihuahua 1 year ago and that’s going to go away :*(

And/or threaten to talk to the authorities (call your local humane society or SPCA office for guidance/help).

Ok I am better know I said I’ll give them one of the puppies (my friend dog is giving birth soon and I’ll wait for 3 months) so I saved my dog

If your uncle abused your dog, what is going to keep him from abusing a puppy?

Someone who abuses animals isn’t going to stop without treatment. Do you really want to be responsible for providing him with another animal to hurt?

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do NOT give them any animal, especially a helpless puppy. If your uncle abused a dog in the past severely and repeatedly enough that it has taken a full year to socialize the poor dog to “normal” then YOU NEED TO BE STRONG AND RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH TO SAY NO.

It is okay to say no to family and make it stick. It is okay to have them mad at you. It is okay to tell them exactly why you are saying no.

Giving them a puppy to placate them and save your dog is simply cruel and selfish. Keep your dog and save it from them. Also do NOT give them a puppy!!!!

I don’t know how old you are, if you are an adult or still young. If an adult, then act like one and stand up for the safety of the innocent animals, both your dog and the puppies. If you are still a child, then you need to stand you ground in a resolute, respectful but absolute way and still say no to them. If your parents don’t or won’t support you, then find a trusted adult such as a friend’s parent, your pastor, a school counselor or such and tell them of the situation and ask for help.

But whatever you do, do NOT GIVE YOUR UNCLE AND AUNT ANY ANIMAL, ESPECIALLY NOT A HELPLESS, INNOCENT PUPPY!!!!!!!!!!

Definitely NO on the return of the “Gift” and NO on gifting them with a Puppy.

But why does your Aunt want the dog returned in the first place? Sounds like she would rather have Uncle abuse a helpless animal than be abused. Perhaps the authorities need to be alerted to domestic violence.

As Marnet said, go to a trusted adult with the situation and ask for help. If you get no help from one adult, go to another. Keep going until you are heard.

Don’t worry I am NOT going to give him any animals he will have to kill me for any animal and I would risk my life and he is In Arkansas so it would be fair warned if he were to barge in

And marnet I’m 12 and I had to live with him of course I’m not going to give him any animal I just tricked him into to not getting my dog and any other animals ,I’ve been rescuing animals since I was 5 and I know a lot from my research I am not a cruel and selfish person and I get bullied and teased in school so Animals are my only get away so I know to to give him one

HammysGrammy I am not stealing any pets I’ve none these people for 4 years and I’ve babysat there dog and feed her when they were not there ,and I give there dog a bath so I’m not not stealing and I not going to stand for it ,And it has been decided that he is never getting a dog because

1. He is alergec

2. He is never getting my dog or my friends dog
