    Another sore throat treatment – gargle with warm salt water and aspirin. That’s from our very own TDK nurse WWM.

    Snow is melting, and now freezing again. VERY slippy! Tomorrow more snow….. Oh joy! LOL

    The sore throat remedies sound great!! Mine feels ok for now.

    Lol Kilroy me too. Mine love paper bags but can’t or won’t go into the crinkly bags at all.

    Georgie loves paper bags and has been using one as a mat for lying on since Christmas morning. I’m not going to be the one who takes it away 🙂

    Oh, and in a sort of hopeful piece of news, I just got an e-mail from a woman who works at a company I would love to work for; I had contacted her through LinkedIn months ago asking if she would tell me about her job. When I didn’t hear back I figured she just blew me off, but apparently she just forgot, which I can totally understand. It’s a corporate investigations firm & they’re looking for someone for their NYC office (!!!!). Maybe good news for 2013?

    I call BW Kitty on the left! Kilroy, sounds like a possibility…

    Hoping 2013 is better at this end at that place. It’s discouraging not to be able to do anything right & have every misstep scrutinized – somethings gotta give. Thing is, I love it there, but there’s personnel issues – things have changed. I’ve been there 13 years & would rather not get pushed out.

    Hope the “possible new job”, works out for you Kilroy, and I really hope that place settles down for you Joan. I can relate to the problems/unhappiness.

    Joan, hope things work out for you at work.

    Why am I getting ads for implants and drug rehab on the main site? It used to all be kitty-related. Other place I may get ads related to something I’ve looked up online, but I can assure you I have not been looking into either rehab or implants!

    They do change when you refresh – I just though them odd, since I’d only ever noticed kitty ones before. But just tried refreshing a few times, and got Crate & Barrel, something about computation, an after Christmas sale somewhere, and finally kitty litter!

    Off to bed for me. Had too much going on today for a “regular” Friday. Shepherds, plus two walks with the bulldog I’m walking after owner’s surgery. Add to it two visits to someone’s cats, two visits to two yappy dogs, two to a doodle, and a few hours of babysitting and I’m toast. Getting up at six for morning pet visits around town, then driving clients to the airport. Phew!

    Yeah, there was a car ad followed by a Kitty ad. I guess I don’t always pay attention to them either.
