    Loki is a pretty one.

Morning, all. I am exhausted today, totally tired of snuffling & sneezing and blowing my nose – yuck.

Mr. K was going to donate one of his big poofy coats to the church coat drive but they said “coat drive’s done, we can’t take it” so Georgie is happy because he’s loving sleeping on it πŸ™‚ I was really surprised that the church wouldn’t take it, though.

Paws up Joan and BB and Kilroy πŸ™‚

Kilroy, surprised that they wouldn’t take the coat either. Perhaps they think that people only need coats during the holiday season, geesh.

    Hi Kilroy!

Guess the church had nowhere to store it until the next one. The church I donate stuff two have two rummage sales per year, and whatever is left goes to Salvation Army or the Ecumenical Center as they said that they have nowhere to store items until the next one. They always do really well too, don’t charge a lot either.

Sorry you are not feeling well… that time of year I guess. Keep resting, that helps heaps!

After shoveling the other night, I was SO cold and throat hurt. I left work early yest. ate chicken soup and took a good 3 hour nap. Then ate MORE chicken soup. LOL I don’t feel bad today, but so sore from the shoveling. First time snow, then when the 2+ in of sleet stopped, shoveled all that too, until 1 AM. Boy was I sore yesterday! LOL All that FREE exercise! πŸ™‚

I actually went back to bed for an hour this morning after getting up at my usual 6am to feed a yowling Georgie. Luckily Mr. K was there to get me up in time to leave for work.

BB, I do *not* envy you your free exercise πŸ™‚ I HATE shoveling more than I can express.

Kilroy, good for you to get that extra sleep. I know how it is with these STARVING kitties! They get me up (or TRY to!)at 3:30-4:30 am to eat. After all the last time they ate was midnight. BUGGERS! Then when I’m home, all Perry does is bother me ALL day for food! He yeowls up on the counter, comes over to climb up my back, and sits next to me and hits me with his paw in my face. Maybe sleeps a little while, then starts the whole thing again, over and over. I tell him… “What do you do when I’m at work?” Then, “I can’t WAIT to go back to work to have peace and quiet.” LOL

Granted her parents went over-board, but with this I would tell her you are an adult and now can pay for everything on your own. The pysch doctor said that they were still responsible for her which is crap in my eyes.

The psych doctor obviously knew nothing about the case; where was there any implication that the *daughter* was mentally ill? Too many “experts” just want to get in front of a TV camera and spout nonsense.

Interesting Sore Throat remedy posted on TDK FB this morning, worth a try this

    scratchy season!

    Cat Vernon

ok! SO! I found I new way to help with sore throats from my aunt last night…hot water lemon juice maple syrup (not the syrup for pancakes the actual bottle that says maple syrup on it) and….cayenne pepper…I know it sounds odd but I drank it last night and I feel LOADS better this morning. try it, it works.

Eep, calling for 2 – 4″ of snow tomorrow. Going down the mountain to celebrate Christmas at mom’s – coming back up might be tricky.
