That kite flew so high – the pic is when I reeled it in so I could get a shot of it flying.

Hi Joan, happy you enjoyed some kite fun on your mini vaca too!

Time for me to vacate this place, finally…whew!

But back on the flip as last solo day for awhile, now a smooch for Tux, later kits! C’mon Scoot, let’s head home & see what your bros as Lucky & Crock are up to!

    Interesting yet sad indeed.

    Beautiful prayer and pic, Deb.

Wish I could be here more – that place is kicking my butt. Then again, I’m so close to cracking I might have plenty of time.

They are beautiful cats, much better at a distance though. I had a young one who slept on my back porch at my last house. He would come up during the late night hours and sleep lying against the patio glass window, guess he felt safe there plus there was water outside. And little field mice so he could snack too. He would come thru the gate and settle in, if not by the patio window then on one of the patio chairs with a cushion. The Crew and I would just watch him from time to time. At that time both Red and Kitty were outside kitties and they slept on the roof at night, so safe for everyone.

Paws Up! Joan, I love flying kites but haven’t done so since the girls grew too big to consider it a cool thing to do. We made sure each of the girls had a kite and we would regularly go to a local kite park to fly them.

The nasty weather we have had forecast has arrived, slowly with drizzle and showers and now rain and strengthening winds that are forecast to be severe. I am all battened down here. I had to bring in my early season Monarch caterpillar who had ‘hung’ himself but isn’t a chrysalis yet.

MS, I totally remember many ‘days gone bye’ of flying kites when my kids were little, on the beach! ….. haven’t done so in years!

…. our weather is similar – it’s rained (quite hard) off/on all day, and promises to do so tomorrow and Wednesday…. good news is, Thurs (when we leave for the cruise, things are clearing – WHEW!)

There is so much that we did with the kids when they were young that gets dropped as they grow up. Maybe we will take them up again on our old age.

AV, Positive Vibes for fine weather and calm seas for your cruise.

Jan, oh isn’t that the truth. I had hoped to take up a couple of things after the kids were grown but that changed once it was just me rather than as a couple as I had planned.

Evening Deb, it’s wild and woolly here tonight. HRH went down into the basement and much later I hear her meowing. So out into the wind, rain and dark I go with a spotlight, unlock the door and step in and there she is just sitting there meowing. Sigh! Out I go and I lock her under there and back through the rain and wind and inside and I call her through her cat door. She eventually comes up and is now tucked up beside me but nervous every time we get a gust of wind.

Lol, oh Shadz you do give your Meowma heart thumps at times worrying about you. Wild and woolly makes for a touchy sleeping eve.

LOL, not something you really want burned onto your retina is it, the cat one is much nicer. I was only a matter of time before people cracked the biometric code.

We have rough weather here and Shadz has just woken and is looking scared. Poor girl, I can see that she will be under the furniture soon.

Ouch, ouch by a nipple? That is funny!

Batten down the hatches, and maybe build a fort for Shadz so she feels safe.
