Monday 24-08-2015 – It's Vesuvius Day!

KJ, for sure if it was just me to feed! Had half as it’s so decadant I want to save some for tomorrow!

Cold wet day here and HRH has retreated to my bed for the day. Busy morning here paying city rates and scaring the bank account. Then came home and hunted for a beautiful glass and wood seed box I was given but put away safely. Success! I found it but not the seeds I carefully saved and apparently didn’t put in the seed box.

KZ, you are busy dealing with your tomato crop while I am now in the process of sowing my tomato seeds and hunting down the banana pepper seedlings so I can get a good crop early for smoking and dehydrating. I must say I am interested in the Texas caviar recipe though.

Yikes Joan you get snakes too as well as bears. Oh I think I remember us chatting quite a dew years back about some snakes that were under something back before you had the renovations done. That was a while ago. It was someone who was growing beans at the time I think. Oh no, you have to cook tonight! ! Ah well the good life can’t last forever.
Time I hit the kitchen to see what I am eating for lunch today.

HRH finally woke up and went outside and when I popped out a short time later she was at the door and dashed inside as quick as a flash. When I came home she was once again asleep on my bed. It’s not as if it’s really nasty outside now, drizzly and cold but that normally doesn’t faze her. I guess her age is beginning to show.
