The staff kits feel somewhat outdone by the Kitty Olympians and have decided to embark on a “get fit quick” regime. And no “Jane Fonda” or “Jazzercise” for these tough kits – no siree! Chef Kitty is obliging an all-too-fleeting interest in this program by featuring delicious yet nutritious eats: granola, wheat and gluten-free muffins, high protein smoothies … and coffee. Not to worry, the kits will be back to treats in no time!

KJ here – with huge thanks to KM for opening today’s Café (w/my opening/pics and he should not have to be doing this for me)! I sense that Basement Cat has gotten his paws on my accessibility. 🙁 Need coffee. Now.

Hi KM & KJ – if the kitties are going to get up and get moving, I’ll try too. 🙂
A big glass of pineapple juice for starters, and some stretching out on the sunny patio. Perhaps that big Maine Coon will walk thru the snow on the other side. The snow out there is light and fluffy and you can easily walk in it. Much better than where I live, where it’s layers of snow and ice!

Hi Joan,

Freezing cold here again, confirmed by very nice new neighbour (or seems like new girlfriend of old neighbour) – ie she instantly warmed up to Dorry who went into hall to greet her, she must work night shift as it’s early to be coming back in. Back to the sweaters over everything and warm boots. Not the biggest problem and warm(er) weather was purrhaps too good to last. Spring, where art thou???

Your juice is ready and the hostess kitty bringing it is still wearing her runners. The exercising kits seem more purr-sonable than some of the non-furries I encounter at my gym. Used to be able to do split like the black kit. Still flexible but would not attempt this now LOL.

Re my site problems I feel certain that Basement Cat is getting back at me for backing out on my promise to sell him my soul. After breakfast and weight-lifting session Dorry will be sourcing out his “grimoire” for time-honoured ways of rescuing me from the clutches of Basement Cat. In the meantime there’s always coffee. 😉

Morning all!…… great day here! ….. should be beautiful all week! ….. just mailed my Son a birthday care package – baked both his favorite brownies and chocolate chip cookies, and sent some nice epsom soaks and skin creams, cause the snow/NY winter is giving him itchy fits! ….. just stuff a typical Mom would think of to make their Son feel better! ..

… LOL @ JK, that white cat in the leaves looks just like Queen Cuddles!

Hope you son survives his first Winter in NY with 25 days to go/LOL!
KJ…wanted to comment on your w/o kits too! Esp liked the fluffer Maine Coone.
Reminded me of my Luck except he’s along w/other 2 is now on a weight mgmt. program…
Showing results slowly…they are now eating their new kibble w/o me adding a bit of
old fave stuff!

AV, how sweet to spoil your son. I’m sure he will be touched. Awww… Sounds like a wonderful BIRTHDAY BOX of goodies. I have a friend at work and she sends her two: daughter and son, goodie boxes for all holidays that they can’t come back home for. So sweet.
I am still SO tired….. it’s awful. Back hurts today, so I am icing it. Will soak in Epsom salts later, as well.
It’s quite cloudy out today with a pretty blue sky. Hope the sun shines a lot. The cats are already laying in the weak rays…. waiting. Awww…. 🙂

I hear ya, Deb. I like the kit on the bike too – what, you mean I need to pedal??!
Bright and sunny here, but the dreaded polar vortex is supposed to make an appearance this week. Cabbage kit will have a while to wait for green in Illinois… (note to self: must get me some cabbage kit seeds for garden…)
KJ, cool that Dorrie is making new friends: ambassador to the halls! BB, I hope you feel better soon, maybe AV can send you a get-well package through the wormhole.

Awwwww BB, *pushes* a care package through the wormhole ….. I hope your back feels better soon! Those Dr. Teals’ epsom salt soaking solutions are miraclous! My favorite on is the eucalyptus mix …… really helps! ….. not only aches, but absolutely HEALS your skin and gets all the ichy-ness out!

Hi everyone – got some banking done and stuff together for the tax man. Also ordered flowers for MIL’s surprise b-day party. I was looking at yellows, but decided to go with an array of colors – at this point flowers need to scream spring!

Tks again KM. Yes BB, it would appear that Basement Cat and minions would not let me open the Café, so I sent my stuff to KM and he saved the day! Hopefully tomorrow will be OK again. Plus, I find Epsom Salts to be marvelous, I take a hot bath in them every night, so inexpensive too, as I cannot use scented stuff.

Deb, I mentioned this before, but would you know if the famous cookie shack atop Mt. Lemmon still exists? My prime spin instructor/pro cyclist is cycling up that mountain on her vaca and she mentioned that the cookies are worth the hard trip up, so I mentioned that I sorta know someone in AZ. Not all that important LOL.

The kit on the bike. Lots of peeps mention that the spin class is not all that challenging. Well not if one doesn’t put any resistance on a resistance bike. As in with the class I just did a nap is def in order LOL.

Joan, got most of my tax stuff together for acct. With my math skills or lack thereof no way I’m doing them myself. When is US d-line, here it’s Apr. 30th.

Thanks Deb for the Budapest video. Seemed familiar, wondering if Commune shared this awhile ago. Still was a great place to re-visit via ‘puter airways/LOL!

Hey Joan, asst’d bouquet sounds pretty. Flowers would be screamin’ bring me inside around here this week for it’s so cold!

Good for you too KJ. I need to organize my tax stuff to pass on to accountant. My usual trip is in March. (He also sells girl scout cookies/grnddtrs…great incentive to pay him a visit too!)
