Awwww Leela, you look adorable in your beautiful red dress!
And Joan, I agree with the little spiders being allowed to stay (and I do mean little) as they catch bugs like gnats and flies..but the big ones just can’t do it. I guess like Deb I’m afraid of them, and my fear has no basis except they creep me out because they always catch me unaware or feel they need to jump at me or on me.
Avery just left so have to scare something up for Mr. KZ as we have now officially started harvest–he’s in the combine in the bean field!

Hee hee, yup – diva sista kit Scoot was moving around to try and remove it all by herself too!

    Well, finally almost that time!
Wishing all a good rest of today.
Back on the flip as Tootsday! Mwah, smooch for Tux – later all!

See you on the flip, JK – peace out!
KZ, sis and I were discussing mice in the walls and how when we hear them in the middle of the night they aren’t teeny tiny field mice, but teeny tiny field mice with GIANT teeth who are out to get us! *picturing a cartoon mouse – little body, giant teeth*

Nope, not convinced that spiders get a welcome in my place.
    Scootie’s collar is cute.
But Miss Leela, well JJ that’s some chic dress. Is the skirt her clan tartan? Would be interesting to see a front view – just for expression on her Diva face! As in are her sharp teeth showing?
I’d have same exp as you PG should ever dare to dress Dorry. I really don’t want a redux of his fangs embedded in my purrson!
Day was tricksy. And just now I managed to murder some innocent baby potatoes. Not surprising with my culinary skills – not! Basically burned them while trying to boil them in micro. Had to scrape them off bowl. So found a sweet potato in veg bin and boiling it up, timing it more carefully. It’s going to be doused in oil, seasoned and baked with shredded cheese. Figure it can’t be all that bad.
Spent time re-organizing al my tools, screws, nails by size type etc. New power drill comes with so much stuff that I was able to toss some worn out tools. All these bits and pieces and no idea what they’re used for! Naturally no instruction manual. Think I’ll take pic of box which has some details and friend who (I hope) got same set and knows her fix-it stuff will walk me through it.

Good morning all. Just vacuumed the downstairs and now sitting down to catch my breath.
Good news, Shadz seems to have got over her picky barely eating enough to keep a spider alive phase and is now nomming down food like it is going out of fashion. I don’t know if it was the drops from the health food shop, the yoghurt in her milk or the fresh rabbit meat which has a proven track record with her. The main thing is she is enjoying food again.
Love the talk of spiders, I will allow two types of spider to remain inside, the Daddy Long Legs spider because they catch flies and the little jumping spider because they really are cute. 😮 Any other spider gets removed or the KZ treatment.
Eek KJ,KZ and JJ with the surprise spiders.
Leela, were you dressing for the red carpet? Oh my! Leela you look adorable and so sophisticated.
Shadz would have my fingers off in a trice is I tried to put anything on her. We can’t even put a collar on her.
Ugh don’t talk about field mice or bigger. With our much colder Winter and house construction behind us the critters have invaded our basement and a couple have found their way up the zig-zag cat ramp into the garage and into the house. I have had to keep Shadz from the basement the last dew nights while we set traps. First night one trap was set off but no victim and last night nothing. Hopefully we have scared them out of the house.
KJ, woohoo you have your drill but no instruction manual is frustrating.

Just to put a cap on today’s theme, “Give Peace A Chance” was recorded in my very own city as Montreal! At the Queen Elizabeth Hotel which is still there but different owners/name. May ’69. Bed-In for Peace.
