Evening all! … well, the rain has picked up (yay!) my fishie pond and yard will be very happy! ….. temps will hover right around 70 for the next few days, so it should be beautiful!

LOL @ the ‘mooning’ snowman …. and oh yeah, being a college gal of the ’70s the ever popular ‘streaking’ occurred more times than I care to recall (some visuals you just cant shake) at sporting events, graduations, etc ….. *sighs* ….. WAY too much of that ‘funky’ stuff smoked during that era! LOL

I did my due diligence and advised KM that a few of us have experienced the disappearing posts issue. At first I thought it might be an issue with my outdated browser. Hope that it can be resolved.

Someone I was chatting with thinks that the storm might avoid attacking my city, like purrhaps hit the Eastern Townships and veer off somewhere else. For various sciencey/meteorogical reasons that I don’t understand. So hope that she’s right!

If not, well gym is within walking distance. Lecture is a subway ride and sorta short walk away. It’s drivers that have the bigger probs, ie shovelling, finding parking, etc. Even got an email telling members that to tempt us to attend lecture – snowstorm or not – we can bring a guest for free. I’ll see if Dorry’s interested – she did not specify hoomin LOL.

Hey KZ, would you purrhaps be interested in going halfsies on the pretty necklace that caught my eye? It would ONLY set us back 10 million bucks each. And it could spend 6 months efurry year with both of us. I didn’t think so, just a thought! 🙂 😉

The Eastern Townships (Estrie, in French) is a lovely region located between Montréal and Vermont, so as you can imagine, there are quaint towns, rolling hills (some very high) and loads of maple syrup. I have friends there. They are expecting far more snow than we are. One of my good friends there is a VETERINARIAN! Despite its beauty, the region has many country people with little money, meaning many non-spayed and neutered pets. My friend is very busy at a low-cost spay and neuter clinic.

So far no blizzard per se, but everything has turned white, when there was not a speck of snow remaining yesterday. The city usually cleans the snow away fairly quickly… Still, I HATE it.

I have the bosom for Liz jewellery, but no thanks. I’m as short and busty as both the Lizzes – the late Dame Taylor and Her Royal Majesty… but not at all either a film star type or a Royal. I wear very little jewellery, mostly silver earrings. And prefer to be adorned by cat fur.

Lagatta, my father was born and raised in Sherbrooke. Spoke French like a “pure laine” Québecois! My brother was born there too. By the time I came along family moved to Montreal (where my mother was raised) for work reasons. At one time there was a large Jewish community in Sherbrooke. My grandfather built 2 cottages on Little Lake Magog. Trust me, these were in no way English country manors, and I did not and do not enjoy country life at all.

Re jewellery: I’m still somewhat aghast that anyone would pay 20 million bucks for a necklace. I’d probably be afraid to wear it without a bodyguard in tow. 😉
