Sometimes it feels daunting until you start w/even just a little area! (I too still have a ways to go w/all of this stuff!) After hearing about “hoarder” issues lately it was a wake-up call. I am not a hoarder but still have alot of stuff from my mom & sis upon passing…it was a comfort for awhile but now it’s got to be shared w/someone in need or?!

Hee hee…saw that on yahoo at lunch, good article Joan!

Hi JK & Joan! Well, now I can add a monster grocery shopping & a nap to my accomplishments for the day. What on Earth am I going to do tomorrow? Oh yeah, go to the gym. I’ve been really bad about that lately but need to get back to it.

Hi JK, Loan, Deb and Kilroy (and anyone else who pops by). This IS a Moanday. Just when it was starting to get a leetle slower, someone up and quit, leaving a bunch of unfinished work. Guess who’s stuck with some of it 🙁

AND I tweaked my back yesterday so got nothing done and it’s still ouchy. This never happens to me!

Awww…hang in there hugs Linda! BTW how is Brain doing?

Hi Kilroy…sounds like your weekend if stocked full of stuff to do…give Georgie scritches from me when you get a chance!

    thanks JK 🙂

Brain is actually eating a whole can of food over the day, which she wasn’t doing before. She will only eat about a tsp at a time, but we’re not having to “assist” feed right now, so that’s good. Discovered her tummy (since it’s all shaved) is spotted! Looks pretty cute.

Well I have napped for about an hour or so, I should see if I have an NRG to work on the garage and the tons of boxes out there. Reading how everyone is weeding thru things makes me want to do the same until I look into the garage, ack!

Kilroy, isn’t the price of groceries rediculous? I stocked up on meats the other day and dropped a hefty sum of moolah.

Hope your back tweaks back to normal soon, Linda. Gentle scritches to Brain. I’m very glad to hear you don’t have to help her eat.

Good luck on the garage, Deb. Sometimes I look at the stuff and think, if it all went away, what would the real true harm be?

I have to check online for the guide that says what you can keep and the timelines. My mom’s been asking too. I know I can digitalize a lot of stuff.

Joan, the price of groceries is very sad indeed! I have been thinking of taking pictures of things if I need memories and then donating them somewhere. I have stuff in the garage for the kids too.

Linda, yay for Brain eating, even a tsp at a time works!

Taking pictures of things you want to remember & then passing them on is a great idea, Deb.

Grocery prices are ridiculous, and we have to spend gas to do a big shopping, but that gets us to a supermarket with slightly better prices than the one down the street, so it’s worth it.

    Yay Brain! Keep eating, sweetie.

Oyy…I agree food & gas prices are outrageous!

Wow, that is a dilemma Deb…what a wish for some special kits…hopeful the outcome will be positve for both hoomin & cats.

Me, on the way out to get car rear signal light replaced & than to gym before head home to air out my kits. See you on the flip!

    http://oddlovescompany.com/2011/05/quick-say-rabbit-rabbit/ (Thanks Dee)

    Rabbit! Rabbit!

It’s the end of the month and you know what that means… It’s time to prepare for the first of the month and all that can be yours by simple saying ”rabbit, rabbit!”

The first words out of your mouth on the first day of the month must be “rabbit, rabbit”. This is doubly important if your birthday occurs that month. “Rabbit, rabbit” will ensure good luck. And who couldn’t use a little good luck these days?

    Origins and history

The exact origin of the superstition is certainly unknown, though it has appeared in print at least as early as 1420 in England, where it is most commonly said to have originated, though some reports place its origins even earlier, into the 1200s. Today it has spread to most of the English-speaking countries of the world, although like all folklore, determining its exact area of distribution is difficult. The superstition is related to the broader belief in the rabbit or hare being a “lucky” animal, as exhibited in the practice of carrying a rabbit’s foot for luck.

*Thanks Cynthia for sharing this with me!!

Well that’s interesting! Hmmm, my first words are usually “morning Leela” as she paces across my lap before I stand up. I’ll try to remember though!

    See you later JK!

I have to see what’s for dinner. See you all later, if that other ‘puter behaves.

My first words are generally a pitiful mumble. It takes me a minute before I can be at all coherent! Hope everyone is haveing a nice afternoon/evening. I was slammed this weekend between work, rehearsals and an performance. So ready for it to be quitting time so I can head home! There is a couch and a couple of kitties calling my name!!!
