Thanks for the suggestion, Dee. Mr. K loves tuna salad for sandwiches; I’ll see if I can get him to do that for lunch tomorrow and “borrow” the liquid 🙂 Today he did cheesy scrambled eggs with dill – yum!

Happy New Year, MM! Yoiks, your weather sounds bad. It’s finally gotten back above freezing here so things are starting to thaw out.

Kilroy, if hydration is an issue, how about adding plain Pedialyte to Georgie’s food? I used to do that for Milo to hydrate him while he was sick. I also gave it to him in his water bowl mixed half and half with water. He didn’t seem to mind.

….*whew*!….. plops down in the Cafe on a big comfy chair…… house is cleaned, things are back in their place, nothing broken, no one hurt…… it was a successful party!

…. could you please get me a cold diet coke, and hand me a heatig pad for my back…… only thing left to do now, is 25 loads of laundry!……LOL

… Wow! sorry to hear so many of you are still in freezing weather, or that it’s coming back…… it was a balmy 77 here today, and shouldn’t too cold again for a while……

I’m back. I really don’t know what’s going on. My posts here are perfectly visible to all, and I can see my posts on the TDK UK Christmas lunch thread, but the thread will not move up to the top. I’m trying to bump it so that MCW and Pika and DavesMum will see it, but I can’t get it to move.

Please can one of you have a go? It keeps saying the latest post was by Kaitlyn, but I’ve posted 3 or 4 times since then 🙁

PM, I just looked at it again, and you’re right, other than me, the previous poster was Kaitlyn some 19 hours ago…… then me just a few minutes ago, moving it….. if you posted inbetween that time, I cannot see your posts……

…. If you want to post something, do it hear, and then I can copy/paste it to that thread if you like…… I’ll try to remember to bump it too every so often, so that our other UKers will see it……..

Here’s the most important bit. I don’t think you need all my rantings about how the thread won’t move

I can do Saturday 8th, 15th or 29th and darling daughter MAY be able to come with me. Sarries are playing at home on 22nd – I could skip the match but would prefer not to. I can’t do weekdays – I’m back at school from Tuesday 4th onwards.

Thank you AV The post has worked for you. It is obvious that I have said/done something to offend the great KM and he won’t let me have anything to do with the other UK TDKers. I shall have to think of some way to placate him.

The more the merrier.

Technology has always hated me. I was once doing a doctorate and I lost all my results (stupid idiot – I hadn’t done back-up discs). The data were irretrievable and I couldn’t repeat the experiment, so that was when I stopped studying for my doctorate. Maybe I’ll start again one day ……………

Hey, AV…. Since you are in the TDK neighborhood…….. Your turkey tetrazzini recipe is the best!!! Must be the fontina chz….Have always used the Joy of Cooking version….but this is 5+++ star!! (I used toasted pine nuts instead of almonds). 🙂

Hi 12P!….. aww thanks, I’m glad you liked it!….. I am absolutely obsessed with fontina, I substitute it in a lot of receipies…… really good melting for sauces, and goes extremely well with parm……. I even use it to top pizzas, along with motzerella….. gives it a nice twist!…..

…. I am always taking classic receipies and experimenting with what I like about some, and then adding a little of things I like about others…… for me, the fontina, sherry and fresh nutmeg really add to tetrazinni….. and pine nuts would be good too!……

Hello all! Stayed up till 1:30am and up at 9:00 am. Raining off and on and the temperatures are around 52 degrees out. Because it is damp out, it feels cooler. Just finished my left overs of steak, brussel sprouts and red potatoes. I estimate I will be feeling sleepy and wanting a nap about 2 pm. Watching HGTV House Hunters:Million Dollar. They are showing homes in that are over a million to several million.

Will file your recipe away, AV for a day when there is more than just myself to make it for. Glad you were able to get some cuddle time with your boys, GD. Love the visual of Mi rubbing his face on you chin to wake you up. Sylvester likes to knead me first and then he will come rest on my shoulder. Woke up once to his cheek resting on my cheek.
