    It’s National Procrastination Week with Panic Day as today the 9th! Food of the day is Crabmeat!

    Today is Ear Muff Day along with Jewel Day plus Coconut Torte Day! Pluto was discovered on this day back in 1930!

    These are being celebrated during International Brain Awareness Week! (Which BTW is our Mollycat’s b’day week!)

    Today is Pountry Day…what’s for dinner…chicken, duck, pheasant, turkey?

    BTW there was a wild turkey hanging around Shoe place on St. Paddy’s day & the 18th/honest…fig he got lost after having a bit too much Wild Turkey as libation!

    Today is also chocolate covered carmel day…yum, even as java would make a great treat!

    Happy 65th birfday Glenn Close on anniversary from way back 1895 when first recorded footage on newly pateneted cinematograph was made!

    Hey! I just found out that March is BRAIN INJURY AWARENESS MONTH! Hooray for me and my fellow “bruised brains”! I say let’s celebrate that cause I am thrilled to be alive to celebrate at all!

    In Northern hemisphere Spring has sprung on International Earth Day which is also ET Abductions Day.

    We are sippin’ Bock Beer and eating Ravioli as drink/nom of the day!

    So today is Fragrance Day. I’m not a perfume girl, but on the local news this morning they had a fragrance called “New Jersey”. The news desk trio all sampled it, and said it smells pretty good. Good to hear, and I’ll take their word for it. I’m really glad they didn’t all wrinkle their noses and say it smells like a refinery or the “wind off the bay” smell! I’m just going to imagine it smells like lily of the valley.

    Oh and a belated happy birthday, Mister Rogers!

    Tee hee Joan…won’t you be my neighbor! Ooo pretty fragrance as Lily of Valley/ Meuget de Bois was popular when I was growing up! Hey, did you know the Pope has his own fragrance…wonder if it goes well w/Incense!

    Today is also CA Strawberry Day w/French Bread Day on Common Courtesy Day plus Eliminate Racial Descrimination Day! The first Earth Day was back in 1970.

    Thought for the day as I have a simple philosophy. Fill what’s empty. Empty what’s full and scratch where it itches by Alice Roosevelt Longworth.

    What’s going on today? Well it is National Chip & Dip day with Melba Toast Day and Near Miss Day plus World Meteorolgical Day along with 107 anniversary of Joan Crawford’s birth. With saying: Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad!

    Hmm…see Your Fave Salad Thread for an exception! Get ready for tomorrow as Sat the 24th is Chocolate Covered Raisin Day…mmmm! Plus Sugarbee’s birfday!
