Too cute! Their makings look “almost” identical.

I’ve been really curious, what does FUZZ stand for? I have only ever heard fuzz used as a slang term for police officers. I’m curious what it means with cats.

Hey SK, I just figured it meant ‘cat’ because cats are fuzzy…I know it has been used on this site for a long time, maybe one of the old-timers knows (OK, I don’t really mean ‘old’, and ‘veteran’ sounds even worse: I just mean someone who might remember when it started!) 🙂

I agree with prairiecat. As far as I know FUZZ is used to refer to the cats. They’re fuzzy and furry 🙂 Arcalian may have more incite about it.

As an ‘old timer’ the expression ‘fuzz’ as another word for cat has been around for so long that I can’t remember how it began. It may well have been around longer than I have on TDK.
    Maybe Arcalian can help.

A veteran named Rosie first started using “FUZZ” to describe the daily kittens. I picked it up and ran with it. I do believe the original intention was to point out how sweet and fuzzy they were.

Huh, thanks much. I had tried google before asking, but google turned up nothing. I had never heard it before beyond a slang for cops (and now I’m going to be googling why it refers to cops cause it makes no sense! lol). I had thought it was an acronym because it’s in caps, so I was making up words it stood for in my head. lol. I got Furry & Unexplainable Zealous Zaniousness…. and I’m not sure Zaniousness is a word, lol. So thanks again
