Tks for clock reminder as this wknd JK – already started process as have many watches to set. And took advantage of time LOL to change some batteries: $1 for 5 at $ store as compared to $8 for watch repair peeps to replace ea. faulty battery. Plus I like using my teensy screwdriver in DIY endeavor. Only killed one (cheap) watch in process as glass face cracked when I used hammer to get watch back on. *sighs*
Indeed as tonight and tomorrow it is Purim! Tks for interesting recipe JK, I’m more familiar with hamentashen featuring prune or poppy seed fillings, have also tried apricot.
So it’s a day of costumes for those who are daring. And for kids as at gym/community centre day care kids were dressed up. Café (real one as opposed to our own beloved one) owner was dressed as a butterfly, lovely, with makeup, wings and some sort of tutu.
Well tomorrow I’m making it Purr-im as adding to standard spin class gear of black T/tights with kit accessories. As posted t’other day, here’s the deal:
    http://i1347.photobucket.com/albums/p711/katzjpickz/Purim15_zpsowwz1k8z.jpg
Plus will do whisker effect with back eye pencil.
We are having a brand-new spin instructor who hasn’t met me as yet – should be an interesting intro as I doubt that any other peeps will go the costume route LOL.
And for more on Purim – the short version:

One proviso: As opposed to what’s stated in article one is 100% NOT supposed to get “rip-roaring drunk.” Just important FYI.

    TODAY’S FOOD QUOTE

“Salt is the only rock directly consumed by man. It corrodes but preserves, desiccates but is wrested from the water. It has fascinated man for thousands of years not only as a substance he prized and was willing to labour to obtain, but also as a generator of poetic and of mythic meaning. The contradictions it embodies only intensify its power and its links with experience of the sacred.”
