    KM, you’ve certainly had your paws, um, hands full with the technical side of this site. Just wanted you to know that I’m liking the enhancements. The picture above the newsletter sign up is absolutely adorable – I want that pic as my wallpaper! And the arrow on the side that picks random threads, I’ve gotten lost in them and really enjoyed how they take me back. Oh and it’s cool that you can post more than one pic of each day’s kitten.

    Stop, you’ll make me blush. 😳

    I’ve got a few more subtle changes planned (probably so small you may not notice) but as always I want to hear your feedback about them. Also because mobiles and browsers behave differently, I don’t always know if something is misbehaving if you look from a different browser.

    I saw there was mention of having a calendar back in the sidebar; when I find one that works with this theme then I will get it on there. I tried one the other day and it was just awful.

    i agree. tom, i think the best thing would be if our posts could be kept private, so google searches cant find our personal info. that would would be the biggie for me. that might also help keep some of the trolls away too. i love the cat under the blanket myself, so adorable! i liked the old kitten too. hehhe

    Km…I’ve run into an old problem. I thought it was Yahoo again. Maybe not. First…I’m still getting the stretched look on my screen. The right side is being cut off. Then,my home page feed won’t display TDK. I get here via “My Favorites” for the time being. I hope it’s not my stubborn streak helping. I hate change(altho TDK can’t kep me away) & I’ve been hanging onto my Windows XP(7) forever & haven’t updated that yet. They’ll make those changes whether I like it or not. Could you be a darling(altho you already are) & see if you can fix the 1st 2 on your end? Purrty Please? 🙂

    Like the changes too, especially the emoticons option. One teeny thing and in truth a non-issue. There does not seem to be a way of separating blocks of text into paragraphs anymore, ie one can’t respond to one purrson, skip a few lines and take up with another purrson or comment on another topic. Ends up being one big block of text. Like I said not a major problem, but since you asked …

    @feral With Yahoo, do you mean the My Content feeds on My Yahoo? Can you try adding this in to the My Content feed: http://dailykitten.com/rss
    That’s what I have in mine and it seems to work fine.
    With the stretched view is it only on the actual forum pages? If so its meant to be like that, i.e on the topics pages there is no sidebar so the posts and replies take up the full width.


    @katzenjammer     I hadn’t noticed an issue with blocks of text. I’m splitting the comments using the return key, so it will be interesting to see how they appear when posted.
    *edit* I see what you mean, in the post editor there is a double space between the 2 paragraphs, but when it’s posted it closes the gap, hmmm, wonder why that is?
    **second edit** I can get a gap to appear between 2 paragraphs by entering < br /> (remove the spaces) where I want the space to be.

    I’m going to try a few things as now that I know about that block text line breaking issue, it’s bugging me 😀

    Tom, you are WONDERFUL!!! Thank you SO much for the changes and always improving things here for us! Bless you!!! I love the full length paragraphs too! Just like the old “TDK”.

    Besides the kittens, I love how I’m always finding/learning new things on this site. Newest cool discovery (for all I know it could’ve been here awhile but I just found it LOL): the spell checker/suggestions in the typing box (edit box?) Very helpful!
