Omg so I bought a laser pointer for Alice who’s almost 9 weeks old today and let me tell you that’s it’s the best $4 I’ve ever spent. I know there’s no way she’s waking me up tonight cause she’s gonna be worn out lol had to share

That’s awesome Melissa! Comet goes bonkers for the laser pointer, but just for a lap or two around the room, then he stops long enough for me to put it down, then he meows for it, then the cycle keeps going!
I have heard that when you have had enough but kitty hasn’t, put a favorite toy where the laser ends. Or you can have it end in the palm of your hand (provided those baby claws aren’t overexcited!) and have a treat or toy there as a prize for all that laser hunting.
They also make battery operated ones for those of us who get tired before kitty does – a bit expensive, but pretty cool.
    Sweet dreams tonight, Alice!

Ya took the words out of my mouth Joan 🙂 lazer toys are great! But it’s always reccomended for the cat/kitten to have a “payoff” at the end of a play session so as not to frustrate the cat (nothing physical to catch at the end of the chase) .. I always use a cat nip covered toy just adds the finishing touch especially a “kick a boo” toy so they can wrap all for claws around it an go mad 🙂
