It’s the unofficial end of summer here in the North hem, sigh, but it’s also an excuse to get good and lazy.
    TURN OFF SPELLCHECK!!!
though many devices will correct what you are writing, resist the urge to correct, whether it be rein your device or your not so sharp typing skills.
    D**N YOU AUTO CORRECT!!!
It types some crazy stuff dometimes. Agency kitties will be watching and we won’t know, but they will know if you go back and correct, do don’t do it! Let go of the OCD and your mamas voice in your head and just type!
There’s a variety if good (food!) here I. The lounge, mostly take out. The age kits try to please, but they too have instructions to be lazy, to a degree. They will still find the purrfect spot for you, whether it be fireside watching the snow fall outside or in a lounge chair be the water or at a formal table as your meal is served. I think they will work a bit on Monday, as there’s a big cookout planned, I believe. They may even start up the grills on Sunday evening for those who can’t stay up Kate on Monday. Fireworks will light the TDK skies each night this weekend.
Chef kitties await your cusy order – with phone in paw, they will have it here for you as soon as you ask.
    Welcome!

Hi Deb / eww on the hit weather. I just keep thinking of the frigid annoying winter when it gets really hot, I gave less tolerance for winter, probably because of the shorter daylight time.
ECB, have a blast at the lake! And I agree it is ironic to have yakkage under the new yum sign. Guess it’s been properly christened.
Ok so I think my problem is less about spellcheck and more about fat fingers/little keys! In instead of on, if instead of of, good instead of good, etx. At any crate, this thread should be entertaining!

Morning all! ….. oh EC, I did LOL at the yakkage under the ‘Yum’ wall ….. only a cat! what purrrrfedt irony!

….. was going to (notice past tense) try and sleep in today ….. Abby had other plans ….. she managed (per Mr. AV) to yakk up her breakfast in the middle of the foyer (thank goodness for hardwood) …. and when Mr. AV refused to feed her more, she decided to come ‘tell’ me about it ….. after sitting on my head numerous times, while ‘talking’ about it for 30 min. I finally gave up and followed her downstairs to give her the ‘other half’ of her morning can …… conveniently, Mr. AV had disappeared outside to the golf studio to putz around in there, so he wasn’t privy to the pittiful saga Abby was singing …..

….. today is my rest day, I think I might try and do some errands later, but motivation is low, so I may not get to them πŸ˜‰

    Morning AV and girls πŸ™‚

Poor, poor starving Abby….she even sang for her breakfast πŸ™‚ Kitty does that, he will either sing or drive me nuts by pawing at the treat bag on the bed.

Am angling for one of the chairs by the fire. I love snow, and winter is my best time of year. Today I am looking after my youngest grandson- he is currently growling like a small dinosaur. Apparently he is very hungry (which is odd seeing how much he has eaten). We have house rabbits for company and a small herd of free range guinea pigs in the garden. I have counted 5 but there may be more. Everyone is doing their own thing- strange not to have Dru cuddled up or leaping around the place. I would love to teach her to play fetch- how do I start?
Happy weekend everyone- hope it is the best.

Oh AV I had Noodle singing for his dinner this morning today..

Was sent home from work too πŸ™ I felt so weak … And the manager didn’t want me getting any worse so I’ll make up the hours next week..

So very tired ! Had my cup of joe is my perfect new bone china mug πŸ™‚ my last china mug broke a few days ago and I prefer my coffee from a bone china ( cat) mug πŸ™‚

Hey Judith πŸ™‚ you snuck in there ..

I’ll be honest Noodle is only one of two cats I’ve ever had that played fetch.. Lady Muck was my other fetch boy πŸ™‚ and they kinda start doing it themselves.. But with Noodle I’ve offered him a treat when he brings the ball/paper back and he now associates the word fetch with bringing the paper back.. Sometimes though he’s having too much fun you kinda have to wait for him to want you to throw it again.. But I find it very easy to train a cat to sit, stand and give the paw..

I’d love to teach Miss Dru some things. She is a clever girl- I’m sure she could learn. Noddle is gorgeous and so smart.

Aww thanks Judith. πŸ™‚ I bet Dru would pick up tricks very quickly!!

I think noodle is the first cat I’ve ever seen fetch. None of my boys would do that. If I throw something they would chase it, play with it and if I went to get it back, run off with it. Noodle really is a clever boy and it’s so nice seeing that despite his missing leg that he is running around and playing.
On the subject of smart animals I’m reminded of a dog that belonged to a friend of my Nan. If he heard you sneeze he would bring you the box of tissues that were kept on the coffee table.

well, after shopping ALL over town for a lava lamp (KJ, Walmart only had pink ones – not getting that for my 18 year old nephew) ….. I came home defeated ….. only to lament my saga to my handy man (Scottie) who’s working with Mr.AV around the house today …. he looks up and says “Home Depot has them, I saw them yesterday” …..

Home Depot? LOL. Love the tissue fetching dog, KM. And the kitty mug, Buttons. Coffe always tastes better from a cute mug. Sitting watching Harry Potter for (4) as a break from the mid afternoon heat.

Leo is always ready for second breakfast right after he barfs too, AV. I give it to him and he doesn’t have a problem with it…but seems to be close to starvation without it.
