I took one of my cats to the vet and there I saw 7 kittens that were ready for adoption. Needless to say, one of them came home with me! Since I have 4 other older cats, I keep the new kitten closed into the downstairs bathroom at night and when I am gone during the day. She has her litter box, food, water, toys, a bed and a night light 🙂 I have introduced her to 3 of the 4 cats, a little hissing, but not to bad. Even after she has seen all of her brother and sisters, I will leave her in the bathroom for a while at night, I know she is safe and I can sleep all night without worrying!
