I’m not getting any younger. And past the age of consent, ‘tho not consenting to much either hehehe!
Dorry already gave me a modest love bite, courtesy of his sharply honed fangs – I’m sure he meant well! (Rather I’d like to thing he meant well.) Looks like someone will not be sleeping in bdrm, someone purry that is, no matter, he already has a bed and a condo to himself.
Cake is colourfully awesome, looks like maple frosting too! Drinks for all, put it on my tab(by) Tux!

Was I surprised when I opened my closet and a whole gang of kitties, goggies and one lone chinny pounced out!!! Dorry must’ve let them in thru the wormhole unbeknownst to me as I slept. They’re staying a while. And Miss Nutini and Dorry are cuddled up in his “condo.” I’m off to gym so not able to supurrvise, but I trust them. 😉

Thank you all! Not only are you guys the purriest, you are the best of the best. Fortune smiled on me when I wandered into the TDK Café. JJ, your trio and Button’s gang are “helping” me with my DIY stuff, which after great spin class is a KJ way of spending one’s b-day LOL. Mac and Dorry look so much alike that they feel certain that they are related! The guys are sniffing out my power tools, while the girls are checking out my stash o’ makeup. I know sexist, but kitties will be kitties!

PS CatwomanScotia, are you by any chance a fellow Canadian as in from Nova Scotia? Just curious. Do stop into the Café sometime!

Hi katzenjammer – glad you had a good day! OH spent his birthday taking photographs, which he always enjoys.

We’re not Canadian, I’m afraid – we live in the Old Scotland, on the other side of the Pond, but we are small and beautiful here. We do get plenty of snow most winters, but nothing like the quantity which I have heard descends on Canada at the end of the year.

I’ve been calling in to TDK for years, but I only got around to joining up recently, when a cat appeared who is the image of our Merlin. I just had to say hello to him! Merlin is our 8th feline accomplice, and his photo is my avatar here.

CatwomanScotia, no need to apologize for not being Canadian hehehe! Indeed we get snow and plenty of it. And humid hot summers like 100* F. Best of all weathers!
And best b-day wishes to OH. Scorpios rock! Merlin is a sweetie! A grey tabby just like my Dorian Gray Esq. Tabbies also rock!
Do you live near Dundee, as in did you get to see Catherine, D of C, AKA the Countess of Strathearn. Not a royalist here and would not wait in line to see anyone, but like looking at pics of who’s wearing what.
Being from Scotland, you might find tomorrow’s theme “interesting.” Not sayin’ more! 😉

No, Dundee is across the Firth of Forth – we don’t head up that way very often. We’re to the South of Edinburgh, although not in the city itself. And since OH works even further South, he tends to go that way from choice, even on his days off.

Merlin is lovely – although he can be sweet as butter and stubborn as a mule, almost in the same moment! Like most of our cats he came to us in a rather roundabout fashion, but I’ve never regretted having him here. He fascinates me by changing his colour every year when he puts on his winter coat. His summer coat is quite dark on top and white underneath, but in winter the under-layer of white comes through long and thick, and he turns into a snowy owl until springtime comes again! But he’s a lovely cuddler, whichever species he happens to be at the time.

I’m looking forward to discovering tomorrow’s theme now – you’ve aroused my curiosity!

I hope that the theme lives up to your waiting for it. I have no sense of geography whatsoever LOL. In my fantasies I would like to visit the Orkney Islands, ’cause they seem steeped in mysticism and the Shetland Isles, cause I knit and want to see where the yarn comes from hehehe. All my travel is of the armchair variety! Dorry also has a quixotic temperament, sorta like his servant as myself! Merlin’s coat seems to have a magical quality, his name suits him!

Welcome! We love all hoomins and their furry bosses. I have 3 fur balls-Miss Gaea, LilBit Guy and Miss Moppet.

I was stationed in Scotland in the 80s. I lived in Helensburgh.

The house under the black blob ( I added) is where I lived. I remember listening to the church bells every night. Every now and again I would listen to Bagpipes preparing for a wedding.

Hi pussigato,

Thanks for your welcome! You must have had unusually good weather on the day that photo was taken – the water is such a beautiful blue!

I would enjoy the sounds of the bells and the organ practice from next door, but I think when it comes to bagpipes, you can have too much of a good thing. Especially when the person you’re living with makes the things for some years . . .

Fortunately for me, he’s changed to a different job now.
