    I logged in… must be because here I am! But, when I go to the TDK Book Group chat and try to post, it tells me that I must log in. But I am logged in!!!!

    Grrr…… frustrating!!!!

    Hi WWM! I had similar issues. Push Crtl + F5 if the site says you’re not logged in. It worked for me. (I’m using a laptop and Internet Explorer)

    Hi WWM! Sorry you’re having trouble…I’m not the most patient user of computers and technology, but my live-in tech support, Mr. PC (oh, look at that: PC as personal computer as well as prairie cat! :))always tells me: log out and log back in, see if that will help. Seems like a stupid fix, but sometimes it works!
    Just in case it doesn’t, let’s hijack the thread: what are you reading currently?

    I’m having the same problem…can’t figure out why I can post right here, but not when I tried to post in another thread…it said I wasn’t logged in.

    (((CM))) I agree with you. I hate the new lay-out.

    WWM, I had the same problem yesterday and went ’round and ’round in circles. Today all of a sudden it resolved itself. One thing that I think helps is to check the “remember me” box when you log in (does it say “remember me” or “keep me logged in”? I can’t remember) but anyway, that seems to help.

    Frustrated with it myself. Loss of favorites was truly upsetting, but as we all know things change. As we use it, hopefully things will become easier. Every new system takes some time working out the bugs!

    Yeah Kilroy, I figured keeping “Remember Me” checked off could be a good idea and PC, Mr. PC’s fix also fixed things for me at times. Several times when I had tech-related questions I was told by “support experts” where I used to work, just restart/unplug, etc.

    I don’t like this new setup either. One cannot see all that is going on and who was the last person to post on it. Even harder to try to keep up. Also, the website is slow as molasses! Sorry KMv2 but you need to go back to the original TDK website. Why did you have to change the website? You are scaring off the original TDKers, some who have been with the website since inception!!

    I don’t know if this would help but when I use Internet Explorer, it takes forever to do anything on this site, so I am using Mozilla Firefox instead and that seems to work just fine. Maybe your browser isn’t helping? I always use IE because I am so used to it but have to admit, Firefox is a lot faster with the new site.

    I also hated the new site when I first logged in, I spent the next few days ignoring it, thinking I don’t have time for this (and at the time I really didn’t). Now I am getting to grips with it (slowly) I am really beginning to like a lot of the features. But yes, I still miss the old one. But I think this one is worth sticking with, and if I can help people who are just googling in the hope of finding anything out there that can help their cat or kitten, then I’m going to stay.

    Add me to the list ,I was considering giving up on the site until I saw the news about Deb passing . After reading some other posts I saw the one about refreshing and tried that and then the one about others being forbidden from site when tring to response to a friend request which I also had
