Nothing to do with cats, but much to do with community, where TDK is a prime example of how peeps of different backgrounds can find common ground.
Today, many cities held solidarity marches, joined by many, regardless of race, religion, politics or ethnicity. This is the one in my city.

We will not be intimidated or pushed off the world stage by people who do not like what we stand for, and that is, freedom, democracy and the fight against disease, poverty and terrorism.

JK, the “Je Suis Charlie” memorial with the lights and pencils gets to me big time. As for circus animals, purrsonally I loathe circuses, even as a child, clowns creep me out, not in a phobia way, I just don’t find them funny at all, or slapstick comedy ie “Three Stooges” for that matter. Whatever. Do like shows like the “Ice Capades” though, and ballet or generally any type of dance performances.

Charlie drew attention to horrible animal abuse in many areas – wake up call as pithy cartoons!

Just checked out the website with all the cartoons, now I feel even sadder at the loss of artists who truly made a difference. Or at the very least tried to. Thanks for this information of which I was totally unaware JK. 🙁 But one needs to keep informed IMHO.

C’est vrai – lots on Twitter about how cartoons draw attention to horrible/questionable topics due to Charlie.
Hoping thru healing this can continue w/o extreme reactions!
