    Ahhhhhh..!!! Bloody Midges !!!! Woke up at 5 am thought my face felt funny..turns out it looks funny too… Midges bit my face more.specificly my lip!! Now my top lip is so swollen its ridiculously big!! This has happened before whenever they bit me on the face.early in the morning for some reason instead of itching I cartoon swell up.. Once my eye swelled shut for a.couple of hours.. Took one of Bobo’s antihistamines (can’t spell this morning) so swelling should go down soon. I feel for ya AV …:)

    Hi Buttons, you have lips that celebrities pay big money for and you didn’t have to pay a cent. I hope the antihistamines work quickly or you could chase Mr B around threatening to give him back fat lip kisses. It’s not everyone who says they are taking their dogs meds.

    Hmmmmmm, hope the levity has helped a bit. Gee those midges sure are mean aren’t they, I hope they aren’t going to be buzzing around for too long.

    Yup MS I have those lips clebs pay for LOL…. Well half anyway…. See I actually have very big lips to begin with so I look really funny now..!! The swelling has gone down a good bit but it still looks like I have a fat lip… BoBo’s antihistamines worked a bit 🙂

    Im just glad it didn’t bit me near my eye last time that happened I was walking around for hours with my eye swelled shut!! It looked like someone boxed me in the eye 🙂 strange thing is there is no itchy feeling when they bit my face at all just sever swelling and a numbness tingly feeling… Anywhere else its intense itching and hives!

    I’ve had the hives from being bitten too much, very intensely itchy. i’m pleased you weren’t bitten near the your eyes.

    Deb, that SUCKS about your place, stupid landlord, a little warning would have been nice. Sending all positive vibes available that you find the perfect place quickly.

    Sounds like we’re all having a mind meld on the subject of food; Mr. K and I did pizza the other night, with basil from the pot on our balcony. This is our first year growing herbs and we have basil, mint, and rosemary. Such a treat to cook with fresh herbs and not pay an arm and a leg.

    I agree about the herbs, Kilroy. Ours are just getting big enough to use. I forgot to put the basil in the sauce (since I usually use dried basil) but I did pick some to sliver up on the pizza….yum!
