This morning when I was leaving the house, I called Huddy over to tell him goodbye. I picked him up and hugged and kissed him and rubbed his tummy while he purr-purred. This is our usual ritual. I put him down on the floor and stood by the chair and said, “Come give mama kisses,” which is a normal ritual as well.

Well, he showed me. He ran up the chair, I bent down and he SLAPPED me in the face and ran away.

Ha, Huddy! *laughing out loud* I take it, the slapping is not part of the morning ritual?

I was out Friday with a horrible stomach virus. I missed you guys a lot. But I slept the whole day after I was finished getting rid of the ugliness.

*goes to see new picture of Bob*

    *squeals*

    So adorable!!!

Yay! Bob’s happy you liked it. Right now he’s “helping” the copy repair man.

Oops, sorry HM-this was supposed to be YOUR story about Huddy. Sorry about the slap, but it was probably supposed to be a “high five” and he missed–maybe?

HM–he just wanted you to stay home with him and play tag! Didn’t you hear him say, “You’re it!”? (since he’s accomplished saying ‘Mama’, he’s been practicing everyday to surprise you!)

He was being a brat! He’s never done that before. And then when I’m outside the door there he is at the window standing on his hind legs, crying for mama. What a goofball.

Don’t cats only beg for forgiveness with elevator butt in your face?

That happened to me once when I was kitty sitting for a neighbor. When I was leaving, I bent down to say goodbye to Franklin (Garfield type kitty) and he slapped me across the face to. He didn’t hurt me but he let me know that he didn’t like it that I was leaving. After the slap, he ran behind a chair and started peeking out at me to see what I would do. Silly kitty.

Jo… your comment is just too funny! If that is what they do for forgiveness, Chloe is asking all the time LOL
