Hi Everyone, I was wondering if there is anyone out there that might be able to help. Sometimes some sites go insecure and don’t know how to fix it. Does anyone know how to make sites secure again. I go between 3 browsers Chrome, Internet Explore and Microsoft Edge. Use Chrome mostly. My provider says there is nothing I can do it is how Chrome works. If that’s the case is there anything safer? Any help and/or advice is appreciated.

The problem is most likely on the site’s side and not yours. Security is determined by a certifying authority, the site host has be pay and maintain a certificate with the Certifying authority. These certificates expire and need to be renewed by the site to continue showing as secure. I had this happen recently with a site and they had just missed renewing their certificate, I let them know the site as not secure and they had it fixed in a day.

The only thing I know you can do is have security protection on your computer, or whatever device you are using that alerts you and let’s you know ahead of time which sites are secure and safe, and which ones are not.

Since it’s my e-mail only (Not Login), I contacted my provider and said there is nothing they can do. I didn’t believe the guy I spoke with. Like I said before, I use Chrome mostly for E-mail and web browser, so I don’t know what to do. Is there away to contact Chrome by e-mail without giving my phone number and let them know about the problem?

I’m unemployed so I can’t spend money but are there any FREE sites that will do this and I don’t mean FREE TRIALS.
