    Interesting, ‘cept would not be a plan with my Dorry, that sort of finger wiggling could earn peeps a bite! 😯 The boy must be approached on his own terms, which I’ve yet to discern. Carefully is operative word. πŸ˜‰

    This is not good advice. I’ve worked with cats for years and have learned you don’t just come up to them. Their instinct is to protect themselves and feel threatened when people cross their boundaries. As KJ said even house cats have boundaries. Sorry to p**s on your parade, Dodian.

    Dodian I would say you found a very tame and friendly cat that is used to that sort of attention. Definitely not to be tried on most cats though.
    My cat will come to those sort of hand movements and adores having her head rubbed like that one but she has been used to that all her life.
    It was a lovely cat though.
