    Oops, someone is in trouble.

Welcome to the Night Shift, the fountains are flowing and we have a table spread with in season fruits and berries and there is a chocolate fountain for the chocolate lovers with marshmallows for dipping as well as the fruit.

There are fans and bowls of ice and Long Island Iced tea for those with a heat wave and an open fire and mulled wine for those in colder climes.

Come on in and play with the Agency Kitties.

Evening Jan, just coming on-line because it has been busy as a bunch of little bees this evening. Plus I have Chatty Cathy’s on multiple channels tonight, figure they aren’t allowed to talk at home so they come here to talk their little hearts out 🙂

Evening Deb,sorry about the chatty Cathys. I’ve been busy this evening too doing things around the house. Of course HRH Shadz is lolling in the beanbag watching me as I fold the washing etc.

What a beautiful photo of Ruby, she would melt any heart and Oskar reminds me of Mum’s previous cat Mitzi.

What a lovely story about Mercedes.

Wow, that last link is a fantastic home. You’d never know they were shipping containers.

I love the shipping container homes, can’t believe that the stodgy peeps here in Tucson are upset about one being in their backyard (NIMBY = not in my backyard). The kitties today were good ones, the Crew lolled around today too, following me from room to room and then stretching out when I stayed for a moment or two.

Morning, folks. Deb, what a heartbreakingly adorable bunch of rescue kits in your links today; they all look so happy to be safe.

Good morning AV, it’s a long way down to that car in the crater. Thankfully no-one was in it at the time.

Deb and MS, there is a shipping crate home on the hill above one of the bays (Lyall Bay? Evans Bay?) built by an architect in Wellington, it’s about four of them stacked on top of one another, I think. It looks amazing on the inside too. One of my (poor but brilliant at making things) friends was thinking of putting together a shipping crate home but I think he finally decided they were too hard to insulate (or something).

Deb, I think your one in Arizona looks much nicer inside though.

I like the one in Flagstaff, they said that the exterior paint has a R30 insulation factor which is better than most homes (believe the homes are R24 +).

Good morning/evening, all! How is everyone?

I don’t think I’ll get a lot accomplished today. Everyone left on the men’s and woman’s draw at Wimbledon is playing today, and the Tour de France started yesterday! I do have to take care of an old dog while the owners are away, and have to go see a gym client’s two cats today, though. But so far I’m watching tennis on the couch and brewing coffee.

The one in Wellington isn’t bad, more industrial decor but nice. Would like to see one that they have fitted out with the bamboo flooring and the nice cabinets in the kitchen.

Morning GD, sounds like a nice way to start the day.

Jcat, that container house is quite something but i do like the one in Flagstaff the best.

Deb, they are using containers in Christchurch after the quake destruction for new shopping malls and they look fantastic ad I think we have started using them in some prisons as a solution to overcrowding.

Sorry to say I am off to bed now, the fire is stoked for the night and Shadz has been catnapped by Airy to be her bed warmer. The forecast rain will be here in an hour or so.

Nighty night all, sweet dreams Deb & Jcat. AV and GD have a great day.

Awwww, MS, you piker! Nighty-night, sleep well and sweet dreams. I will be here a little longer, I have a little work to do and I need a cup of coffee.

Morning, GD, that sounds to me like the perfect way to spend the day!

Millie was on my shoulder while I was at the puter tonight and Libs came in through the office window (up the rose bush, as always), stepped onto the desk then OF HER OWN FREE WILL put her wee nose up to Millie and greeted/sniffed/kissed her. Then went and lay down on the settle at the end of the desk. Of course I had to bodily stop wee Millie from throwing herself off my shoulder, launching herself at her sister and undoing all the good work. But it was so great! When I think how Libs used to run from the house whenever she even suspected Millie was in the house somewhere…

It is, GD, it is, it is so nice to see her feeling confident and happy in her own home again. It broke my heart to see her so on edge.

That’s understandable, Jcat. I know i was so upset when my boys stopped getting along after we moved. It sure took a while for your girls, didn’t it?
