I make turkey soup every year. Turkey vegetable soup with egg noodles.

…………… I’ll be making my traditional Thanksgiving meal for the family, then I always make my ‘Turkey Tetrizinni’ with the leftovers…….. yummy!

A simple treat to enjoy for your Thanksgiving breakfast or as an appetizer.

Ricotta Crostini with Chestnut Honey

Serves 8 at least

1 loaf of ciabatta or another peasant-style bread

Extra-virgin olive oil

Fresh garlic cloves, peeled and cut in half

2 cups whole milk ricotta cheese at room temperature

Chestnut honey

Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Prepare a medium-hot charcoal fire in a grill or set gas grill to medium-high heat. Cut bread into 1/2″-thick crosswise slices and brush generously with olive oil. Grill bread slices until both sides have grill marks and slightly charred crusts, 4–5 minutes total.

While hot, rub bread with garlic. Spoon a heaping dollop of room-temperature ricotta on top of each toasted slice. Top with a drizzle of chestnut honey and a bit of salt and pepper.
