Hi all! Thought I would cruise on over and start the NS. We are all pretty hot hear so its gonna be simple. Salads and sandwiches. If you want a burger or something hot, you can order it from the grill, there is a handsome Meezer working behind the grill. Lots of adult beverages to help you unwind tonight. I am gonna just have some pasta salad and a turkey sandwich with a diet pepsi.

How are you tonight?

We just put up a new towel rack and shelf from Ikea. “Easy installation”, the package said. “All you need is a screwdriver”, the package said. It took over an hour to install and I found out my hubby knows more 4-letter words than I’ve heard from him in our previous 38 years together. I’ll take a GIANT anything with alcohol and a lot of chocolate, please.

Lol, CBM! I happen to love putting IKEA stuff and the like together!

MC, a sandwich sounds pretty good. I am trying to use up food in my cabinets – so I had stuffing for dinner 🙁

Hi shifters! I would have had some stuffing if it were just me home for dinner. I broke down and made an appointment with the dentist tomorrow. Hoping it’s no big deal; maybe something is stuck between the gum & tooth, he can dig it out, give me a round of meds & we’re done.

Comet is howling for playtime, (Mouuu! Ahwoo! Oooh! MOM!! MEOW!!!) so I’m off to play with the boy!

OH man…. I am so knackered! We have had house guests…. Windi hates house guests! One was my 12 year old buddy – well, his birthday was yesterday so they spent it with us. But Mr. WWM and I are so not used to having a 12 year old in the house, not to mention Willow and Windi! I think that we are all exhausted and are headed towards a very early check-in time!

Hi all. *waving toward Texas* Hey WWM, where ya been?

Silly George! He got his head through the strap of the big bag I carry stuff to work in. Mr K and I came in from eating dinner on the balcony and found him like that. He’s gotten tangled up in bags before and the only good thing is that he doesn’t panic, he waits calmly for someone to rescue him. So daddy untangled him & meowma hid the evil bag.

Headed for bed now, super tired.

Evening all!…………. Kilroy, Cuddles gets herself ‘twisted’ up in the bushes if she ventures off the porch, her teather gets intertwined in the branches, and she soon finds herself on a short leash!…… most of the time, she just sits and waits for one of us to ‘check’ on her (which we do about every 30 min- hour when shes on the porch), and we ‘undo’ her……….. one time, she Houdini’ed herself out of her harness, and just went back up on the porch and waited for us to come ‘see’ her………… I have to admit she had a big *grin* that day! LOL

GD, hope Bobby ‘calms down’ soon, so you can get some rest…

….. WWM, I have Son and a few house guests (20 somethings) this weekend, and Abby is NOT happy………….. her method of ‘copeing’ is to pretty much glue herself to my side, escort me from room to room, and dissappear upstairs to our bedroom when things get too loud………….. a stressful time for my girl!

GD, I don’t have a kitchen because I am getting a completely new one. The old one has been stripped to the studs. My new appliances are in the garage. My new cabinets are somewhere between CA and OH. My new floor has been ordered. Meanwhile, the old refrigerator is in the bedroom and the old microwave is on the dining room table. The kitties are nonplussed about the whole thing because they are still getting all the food they think they need, when they think they need it. And, they get to play in the wide open space that was my kitchen.

i would like a whole wheat toasted BLT with cheese please. thank you. a couple of floofy kittens to snuggle with would also be good. add an ice cold coke zero or diet pepsi and I am in heaven. I will eat in the TDK lounge…
