    Hello all!

I have lived in Michigan for 6 months and quite familiar with the new life here. Thus, I have intention of raising a cat as a friend with me. Do you think it is okay for a cat living in this region? One thing I’m still thinking is whether there are some centers that agree to take care of them when I come back my home country for summer or winter break. Need advice and thanks in advance!

I’m not sure what you mean by your home country, but having any pet is a commitment for a long period of time and not just a few weeks or months. Cats get attached to their humans, just like dogs do because they are family members. If you are thinking of getting a cat and then leaving for a long period of time, maybe you should rethink it and wait until you are more settled and able to care for it like you would a human child.
