    I just got off the phone with the vets office and her test results came back negative o_o

    I am going to get a second opinion from my regular vet once my unemployment check comes in next week, but for now she’s stronger and trying to get out of her crate because she wants to play with my adult cats, I have let her out to walk around and stretch her legs. She’s also taken a liking to her new blanket I bought for her and she’s been burrowing herself in it after she’s done eating. I am now feeding her every 3 hours so her portions are a little bigger and she seems to be doing just fine! I need to start keeping track of her weight to make sure she’s putting some on, I’m really glad she’s feeling much better! She just started to groom herself as I type this 🙂

    So glad she seems to be going better! Grooming is a good sign.

    That’s great! Did they test her for coccidiosis as well (needs a stool sample)? If not, it’s still a possibility. I am sure your regular vet will be much more help but it sounds like she is coming right, bless her. Best of luck!

    @jcat according to them they did but I really don’t think so. Something tells me to get a second opinion they did not really even want to see her when I took her in. Until I can get money to see the vet I’m gonna just focus on putting some weight on her she’s very alert now, and really craves the company of other cats so she’s been trying to go up to my cats, the oldest one is very curious about her because she loves kittens but I’m just scared if she tries to clean her she will contract the parasite if that’s what she has :/

    Thank you all for everything. I am sad to say this little one didn’t make it and crossed over to rainbow bridge in the middle of the night. I was getting ready to feed her when I notice she wasn’t moving Which I found strange cause she was alway in a rush to get out the crate. So as I got closer I notice she was already gone. I’m just glad I was able to provide a loving home for her in her last few days.

    So sorry for your loss Mari,
    Your wee kitty knew only love in her too-short life, the love that you gave her. May she frisk about the Meadow in total bliss.

    I’m so sorry, Mari. Your little one carries nothing but love with her to the Meadow. She will play with the kitten pack, and one day she will see you and show you how well she can run, as she sprints top speed into your arms. A lifetime for you, but the blink of an eye for her.
