Today it BEGINS! …… the kitties are all garbed in pirate costumes….. kitty eye patches, pirate hats…… the boys are swashbuckling around the Cafe and the girls are wenching around, twirling and flirting! The meezer brigade is manning the kitchen, and anything ‘swarthy’ you desire will be made! Even the ale barrels are flowing (yes, this early! LOL) Come join us for an extraordinary Pirate fest!

Yarrr mateys! Comet has been excited for Gasparilla all week! Yep, you guessed it, he’s all pirate! Leela will come too; she thinks Abby is adorable and wants to exchange pleasantries with Cuddles. (Uh, yea, lol!)
It be snowin’ round these parts so I’ll be aheadin your way too!

We’ve got our pirate hats, I’ve got the parrot (can’t trust Jes with a bird, even a pirate bird) and we’re comin’ through the wormhole!
Good practice for “Black Sails”, Starz’ upcoming series on pirates in the Bahamas back in the days of the high seas. They’ve been hyping it up and down, hope it lives up to the billing: sometimes TV promotes stuff so much by the time the actual program comes on, I feel like I’ve already seen it and don’t bother to tune in!

yay! …… the kitties are ‘a-swinging’ from the chandaliers and beads are being tossed willy nilly! …… it’s chilly here too, but the sunshine makes it nice 🙂

….. everyone looks so cute in their pirate costumes, I love the parrot, he will have a place of honor, up on the highest perch, where he can safely watch the festivities! …….

AV , I’m fumble-fingered re: posting pics as well. I’ve tried a few times and only succeeded accidentally. I know from previous advice from KJ that pic must live in cyberspace, not on your own ‘hard drive’, so you need a ‘cloud’ to store your own pics, or take them from an online source. That’s about the extent of my knowledge. My tablet stores its pics on Dropbox (cloud), and I’m trying to learn how to get them off the cloud and onto my hard drive!

….. Commune, it’s like the 3rd largest parade/celebration in the US, and next to Marti gras, one of the oldest (100+ years) ……

….. my entire City parties for almost a month!

@AV There is a box on the right at PhotoBucket :”Links to share this photo”, click on ‘Direct’, then you’ll have the pic’s link on your clipboard. Back here, click ‘img’ button, paste link into the textbox (overwrite the http:// part!), then click ok.

Hmmm, I’ve only succeeded a couple of times myself, so I’m not sure. Let’s see, click on the address bar, right click, hit copy, go to “TDK”, hit img, paste. It prompts for a description, then hit ok.
At any rate, Gasparilla kitties are raiding and plundering AV’s place, swilling nip and tossing beads around without a care in the world. Wow, what a party!
You realize this is set to get totally out of control, right, AV? 🙂
