    They’re at the front line, holding positions in dangerous territory in any military theater. They march hundreds of miles with packs that easily way more than they do, carrying needed supplies and equipment into locations that are often under heavy enemy fire. Army Day celebrates these most fundamental of the armed forces, and reminds us of the sacrifices they make to protect home and country. FDR said, “The military men and women are A Mighty Arm of the Tree of Liberty”.




    It’s Furry Friday and great to be back at our TDK home. 😀
    I haven’t been able to find another good place with as cool a landlord so I’m going to stay here for another year. Miss Gaea just wouldn’t do well as an inside only cat. I let her have the backyard to play and she’s taken over the neighborhood. *sigh*

    Good morning – many thanks to the army, always. That first pic is one of my favorites.

    It’s starting to snow and I’m heading out to work, sigh. Opened the back door and Berta came racing from across the yard to come in. Smart kitty!

    So glad it’s Friday! Starting to rain here and turning to snow, but no worries–don’t think we are going anywhere, the stove is keeping the house warm, the cats have had their supper, and I’ll be snuggled in my cocoon before you know it!

    Avery and I tried to play a bit outside today, but the wind was so brutal it wasn’t much fun. We came inside and she made a bed on the floor, but never fell asleep. Oh how I wanted to drift off in that nest.. 😆 Thumbalina managed to take it over and biscuit her way to dreamland though.

    Hope everyone has a great start to their weekend!
