    Cats’ fur certainly absorbs tears and if the cat knows and loves you, will tolerate your sadness with surprising patience.
    MS, your garden does indeed sound awesome – I can practically smell the leaves on the tomato plants. I could have used a pepper for tonight’s dinner, and mentally filed in my head that I should plant them next year. That traffic, on the other hand, not so awesome. I keep meaning to ask, or maybe I knew and forgot, do you have high humidity in NZ?
    I sure hope Comet feels better soon. We passed the 24 hour mark, at about 36 hours now. He had a bout of rapid-fire sneezies earlier.

    It has been a sad day CWS. I hope you have many memories to remember and share with Merlin.

    I am envious of your garden, MS. I used to make a garden and every year, it died before I got anything. So last year, I quit. It wasn’t fair to the plants and seeds to willingly commit planticide.

    It’s good that Comet seems to feel better.

    I hope you feel better Lagatta. I believe sleeping with Livia is the best medicine.

    KJ, hopefully you’ll get enough rest to rev up your defenses.
