MS – thanks for the recipe, but tomato allergy (me) and avocado allergy (spouse) mean I’m unlikely to test it. I’m holding out for the cool change. It’s reached the far south-west of the state. As for fires, there’s a few burning in Victoria and some serious fires in South Australia. Fires can be even more dangerous when the wind swings around with a cool change because that changes the long flank of a fire to a very wide front.
Archie and the Indian mynah – I’d rather he hadn’t caught any bird at all, but if he was going to kill one that’s the one to go for.
Polly was smart, not particularly naughty (running up the wall hangings excepted), but she was very playful. It’s 3 years now since she died, just short of her 20th birthday, and I still miss her terribly.
