A pajama party – cool! Let me get my 45s from yesterday’s Woodstock café and I’ll be right there!
ECB, I’m happy little Sam is in a system that will be best for her, since taming was not an option, but sad when I think of her living outside without anyone to pet her. Maybe it will help if I think of her as a barn cat: independent and able to fend for herself with help-once-removed from the feral caretaker. It sounds like she will also have a support group/family among the other ferals of the backyard. Bless you for helping her out as much as possible.
Joan, I love your stories of Comet and Leela. Poor Comet just wants to be friends and HRH Leela doesn’t want anything to do with him! Sounds like there may be hope though: he may wear her down just by sheer continued effort. When I had the two cats, Jes kept trying to initiate friendship, and Missy kept rebuffing, but eventually they got to where they could sleep on the couch next to each other, even if they never did learn to snuggle.

Oooh PJ’s! I’m about to change into my flannels and get back in bed. Went to the neurologist and he thinks my jaw pain IS TMJ. But I’m getting an MRI anyway because of these darned “migraine-like” headaches I get. He is going to put me on Celebrex for a month so see if it help either or both of my issues. I have never, ever had TMJ pain last more than a day. But he’s the expert so I’ll trust him.

I’m gonna send the boys through the wormhole so I can get some REST. Coco hangs with Spooky but I told Spook to introduce Coco to the others. This is his 2nd party but with his “issues” he doesn’t remember too good! Mickey is quite the prankster so who knows what he’ll be up to! As soon as I find their PJ’s and some nip-mice and some records for the slumber party I’ll send them through express!

Off to bed for Lainey!

Buttons, I love the pic with Dr Jeckyll ‘fading out’. He does look like Scotty is beaming him up through the wormhole…either that or he’s related to the Cheshire Cat!

Hi all – again glad you like!

Lainey I was thinking of you this am, hope the regime works to ease your headaches.

Buttons – your crew is totally adorable – make that beyond totally adorable. Is that “the” Buttons kit taking the whole bed for herself?

ECB – sounds like the best possible outcome for Sam – wonderful that you stepped in to look after her.

Deb – love Penny’s story *KJ do not start crying again!* She looks so comfy in the pic where she’s settled on the blankie. She should cone to our PJ party too – the kitties will make sure that she’s well looked after.

As for me – couldn’t be prouder – Dorry is a cat calendar model! Submitted his photo and there he is among many lovely kitties. Anyone who sent in pic got in so it’s not all that fantastic, but still. No he did not get paid, nor did I as I volunteered to source out suitable quotes. And I get to pay for the calendar, but I feel good supporting a highly talented young graphic artist. Must put calendar in his “Purrtfolio” and maybe send it on to the “Friskies” peeps – then I could live off his income. Or maybe not. Whatever.

Joan it was pure fluke I caught the wormhole in action it normally only happens when we’re looking away I think Dr Jeckyll got a telling off for letting its secrets spill but I won’t tell if you don’t 🙂

Bringing little mini pizza kits as thank you treat for your purry thoughts/prayers for Uncle Buzz! He was surprised/pleased that kitty people sent special purry thoughts his way. Will be able to return home in about 4 days, yay!

Here I thought that Buttons was a girl and you thought the same about Dorry LOL. He’s a boy – formally Dorian Gray Esq. Looks like he might be on page three from what I can see of design. For sure he is more “nekked” than the page three girl ;-).

I see we’ve both chosen literary names for our kits. (Great minds thinking alike …) I hope that Dr. Jeckyll is only transporting through the wormhole and not changing into Mr Hyde!!! From what I can see he looks too sweet LOL. I won’t tell either.

Oh boy…I feel better about Sam now after seeing her new digs. Beverly, the volunteer, has warm places for them to hang out (good since it just started snowing), running water, and they are fed twice a day. She also watches them for signs of friendliness and will try to tame them and find homes for them if they seem like good candidates. She put out canned food right before she released Sam and Sam crept out of her carrier and ate some. She ran and hid when Beverly went to get the carrier. But hopefully knowing there is food there, she will stick around.

Great news about your uncle JK! Those kit pizzas look like something that even I could manage to whip up.

Here’s something that I find both funny and pathetic (but in a good way).

Friday I check out job sites to see if I can talk my way into freelance work. This ad for a copywriter includes the following details:

Working Conditions and Environment
– This is a full-time position.
– Works in a sitting/walking/standing position.

Would the other position be lying down??? My imagination takes off from there in interesting directions/scenarios.

Oh ya Dorry and Dr Jeckyll are from the same literary age and don’t worry he won’t turn into Mr Hyde his sister has that title she’s the solid grey kitty in the pic her name is Miss Hyde 🙂

Looks like I’ll be dog grooming all day tomorrow

His is Tiny he’s my mam and dad’s Newfoundland I spent hours grooming him last week and he has a groomer app in two weeks so I have to make sure he doesn’t get any mats between now and then
