Friday 18-08-2017 – It's Bad Poetry Day in the TDK Café

Good morning – blah blah blah…feed me!

Hubby and I went to the movies last night. Another live nationwide simulcast by the guys at Mystery Science Theater 3000. They riffed (joked at) a Dr. Who movie called “The Five Doctors.” The theater was an interesting mix of “Misties” and “Whovians.”

It’s a rainy morning here in Jersey. Going to try to keep Dewey inside today. He is usually happy inside when he sees that it’s wet out…as long as he still gets breakfast!

Good morning all from Saturday although I didn’t realise it was Saturday until I looked at the newspaper. One day is much the same as the other.
It’s a dreary looking day with the threat of rain. I was woken in the night by heavy rain and then became aware of lightning and distant rumble of thunder. Just put a pork shoulder into the slowcooker for dinner this evening.
LOL I love the ‘cats are poetry in motion, dogs are gibberish in neutral’ pic. Having owned/been owned by both cats and dogs I would tend to agree.
JJ, The Five Doctors story was from way back in the 80’s, not even sure I have seen that one as I didn’t enjoy some of the Doctors around that time. The evening certainly sounds interesting.
PG, awwwwwwwwww great story and pics on the kitty in the office. What a wee cutie.
Yay happy news, Airy has bought a car to replace her car that was written off by a distracted driver. 😡 She took it for a good spin around town yesterday and has declared herself very happy with it. It is younger with less mileage than her previous car but it does have some scratches and marks but as she found out no matter how much you may look after your car some idiot will leave marks on it, just hopefully not terminal ones.
HRH is back eating well, I had her on smelly tuna and seafood FF cans for a week and then I gave her her favourite beef steak and she went crazy over it and asked for more. She haz a happe and so does Meowmy.

That’s not a bad poem-it’s a purrfect poem for Livia. 🙂
