Who knows, your warm smile just might turn someone’s day right around!

Never trust a smiling cat. Heh.
I smile at pretty much everyone. As you said, KJ, a smile really can make someone’s day!

The smile is “the symbol that was rated with the highest positive emotional content” concludes scientist Andrew Newberg. All the research aside, smiling feels good and kits sure do enjoy it. Of course, you never know why a kit is smiling…

    I agree JJ-never trust a smiling cat!

It’s Friday-what’s not to smile about today?

Ohhh PG, smiley kit with such pretty pink and grey yarn! I have fallen asleep while reading – bad plan if one is in bath 😉 – as well as while knitting. Also bad plan. Purrhaps I was smiling! 🙂

I’m so sorry to hear KK lost her sweet Dara. There will surely be quite a gathering at the Meadow.

If you smile at me, I will understand, ’cause that is something everybody everywhere does in the same language.

I find myself smiling a lot and at people I don’t know. When they
see me, they usually smile back and it’s nice when they do.

Yay, it’s Friday and I have hair appointment this afternoon!! Mr. KZ has left for his shooting competition and won’t be back until Sunday. Looking forward to a relaxing weekend. Hopefully, he has a great time. He and his shooting buddy who he has been friends with since forever are tent camping for 2 nights. Air mattresses and sleeping bags, but still. I hope he will be able to move when he wakes up! 😆 I’m glad I wasn’t asked to go….NO.

Somewhere I have a picture of Merlin, asleep on my feet, curled up with a great big smile on his face . . . But I don’t think I want to inflict my purple socks on you!

Lol@CWS! I wear dif socks every day to match my shirts, my feet are always cold!

I very often wear different colours on each foot – it stops them getting bored, dressing them differently – but on that occasion I happened to have a matching pair!

Merlin doesn’t mind what colour is cuddling him.

AV and CWS, You and your socks-I love slippers but it has to be cold before I put them on. I barely wear anything on my feet.

My daughter tends to go barefoot around the house, but then she has carpets and heating. My house is older and colder – and I find it hard to sleep without socks on.

In the height of summer I might leave them off – but that’s only a couple of days anyway! So the socks are in place most of the time.

I remember the floors were cold when I lived in Helensburgh. I did have a large rug in the bedroom. We used to laugh at how long summer was in Scotland…then I moved to Iceland. brrrrr! It was almost too cold for me.

Well for me, once I’ve kicked off my street shoes it’s either flip-flops or warm slippers, don’t like going barefoot.

A long, long, long, long time ago, when I was young, two friends and I walked around a local village barefoot, while visiting another friend. We had all sorts of stares and whispers from passers-by . . . and I will admit now that my feet hurt by the end of the day! But I didn’t feel cold on that occasion.

But as I mentioned, I was then a little younger and more foolish . . . and it was mid-July! You wouldn’t catch me doing it now, not for love nor money.

Well, not unless it was an awful lot of money . . . enough to let me buy some invisible socks and warm slippers first.
