Apparently it is Howl at the Moon Day. I’m sure we’ve all felt like howling at the moon sometime in our lives for what ever reason, be it joy, frustration or some deep primal urge or just for the heck of it.

    Thanks MS!

It seems that I simply forgot to open Friday Café! 😮

Love the theme. I will contribute an earworm:

Stray cat strut-after a couple of drinks-oh yea! Purrfect earworm KJ, thanks.

I turned in my ballot yesterday and that’s my civic duty for the week. 😎

Thanks, MS, for starting the Friday Cafe and it’s good to know you’re with us, KJ.

It’s going to be a good autumn weekend but next week, the winter makes another stopover.

    Have a happy~

And what “strange” day would be complete without H. P. Lovecraft!

Weather peeps forecast some leftovers from Nor’easter. As in ice/sleep/ cold temps. I’m so not ready for slippery streets! Must get the cleated boots ready for their “close-up”!

Howl at the Moon! seems there is much afoot here at night, Caddy is caught ofen on ‘night patrole’ on the security cameras! Now she’s passed out top shelf on her tree, ignoring the rain that’s happening on/off all day today …. smart girl! Mr. AV had to shoo Bo off her tree AGAIN yesterday, big guy has no boundaries!

I’m forcing Mr. AV into a late lunch/early dinner out, I want a fish sandwich!! L8R all!

I howled like a wolf the other day, and the cats that were in the room with me got big-eyed and fuzzy tailed and gave me the stink eye. LOL, I had to try out a howl–I was watching ‘Wolves and Warriors’ and was interested in knowing if I could pull of a decent howl. Apparently, I can. 😆

Love the jacket and the picture KJ, funny how you tried to save bucks by going into the store….silly girl….I hope you had a wonderful birthday though…hope you didn’t mind me swiping an apple fritter, you put them by the wormhole, you know… 😉

Livia thanks her subjects near and far for acknowledging her sovereign beauty and power.

But equal billing for the beauty of silver tabbies these days.

I’m heading out soon for a wee potluck with a few friends; we will be phoning a friend who is celebrating his 83rd birthday. He won’t be there – he is battling cancer – going reasonably well overall, but he is staying in a kind of residence near the JGH – one of his sons is a medical professional and another a tech wiz so they can pay for this. Our care per se is paid by our taxes, but this is a private facility – to provide respite to him and his wife who had been going bats*** and obviously not being able to express this… So please send healing vibes to him and supportive vibes to his wife and the family.

We’ll be phoning our friend together, but also enjoying – fleeting – life.

    To life!

Black kits rule .. silver tabbies rule … all kits rule!

KZ, indeed I was a very silly grrrl!

Lagatta, I’ll prayer for your friend when I light Sabbath candles shortly. And AV, for Scotty to have a complete recovery. As is my custom.

Greetings from Saturday. It’s a sunny but nippy day.
Yay Mr MS has his truck back and it has POWER under the hood now. He’s happy although the business bank account will have a severe dent in it.
KJ, no worries about forgetting to open the cafe, one of us will notice and begin one. I must admit I did wonder what had happened for you not to have started a new one and hoped it was nothing serious like a nasty fall or a power tool injury.
ROTFL, is that a cat or a dog in the pic you posted?
PG, hmmmm stop caring about pants 😮 😳 reminds me of a song from long ago. Ear worm warning !

AV, naughty Bo moving in on Caddys territory and tree.
KZ, you had me roaring with laughter about your howling like a wolf and the cats reaction. Brilliant. I guess ‘letting rip’ like that is something easier done when living in a less built up area. That way you don’t frighten the neighbours or have blue and red lights flashing down your street suddenly. 😆
    JK, love your pics.
Lagatta, Healing Vibes are spinning out over the Pacific in your direction for your friend. It is good for them both to have respite care.
This morning I heard a blackbird ‘swearing’ loudly at a feline intrusion into it’s territory and I knew it had to be either Tinker or Tigerlily as they had been playing together on our terrace. I head out to shoo the culprit off and see Tigerliy slink under the gate and off towards her home but the bird was still letting rip with it’s displeasure. I wander a few terraces down and am a bare 6 feet away from the bird in tree and it is staring into the camellia I am next to. I can’t see anything in the tree but called for Tinker and she emerges from the leaves on the very end of a branch a mighty slim 3 feet from the bird. Thankfully the little minx came down to me after a grrrrr-ing and nooooo from me she happily skipped along beside me away from the bird. Talk about care free !
